On the same day the NFL told the team it would approve their eight-year contract with quarterback Drew Henson, owner Jerry Jones said Dallas has a handshake deal to send receiver Galloway to Tampa Bay for Johnson.
Jones said the Cowboys had agreed on a handshake deal with Tampa that involves Dallas reworking Galloway's contract.
Johnson agreed weeks ago to a four-year, $20 million contract with a $4 million bonus.
As for Henson, the league approved the contract, but has not officially announced it within the NFL. It did informed the Cowboys, however, that it had been approved.
"We're pleased that the technical aspects of the league approving the agreement is behind us," Jones said. "We're all set there."
Henson is returning to football after three years of pro baseball.
Among the nation's top recruits coming out of high school, Henson played 16 games his first two seasons at Michigan despite backing up Tom Brady. He started eight of the nine games he played as a junior.

He gets his possession receiver and Bucs get a burner. Actually makes sense. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
