I think anyone with southern roots would be right there with you man. And maybe those without.

But I remember specifically, Dukes came on right before Hee Haw on Sundays when I was a kid and it was a religion to watch them at our house.

I know a bunch of us Yankees who will be right there to make that purchase. But then again all my old friends and I grew up in hick towns own pickups and shotguns so we may not be typical.

Top 3 reasons to pick this up:

3) The General Lee.
2) Daisy Duke.
1) The shorts that bear her name...and her undercarriage.

Yee-haw indeed.

Let us not forget the wide ranging facial expressions of Roscoe P. Coletrain. Or the inspirational thoughts provided by Uncle Jesse on CB. And Catherine Bach. And Catherine Bach. Did I mention Catherine Bach?

I'm probably one of the very few who liked the "replacement" Dukes when Schneider and Wopat walked out for that season.

What are the odds that we'll see the two Dukes TV movies on DVD, too? I liked the Reunion movie, but missed the Dukes in Hollywood one.

I'm pretty psyched, almost as psyched as I am with the upcoming release of Richard Pryor's variety show from the 70's.

It's a good time for 70's TV fans like me!

Btw, was it just my imagination, or did the first couple of episodes of "Dukes" try to play it straight, and they moved to the lighter tone (especially with a character like Roscoe)?
Or, am I just thinking about this too much?

They should include the short lived spin off "Enos" as a bonus. Enos on assignment in Los Angeles--sweet!

One of the biggest thrills of my life when I was, like, eight, was getting to meet Cletus at an auto show. I'll be picking up that DVD for sure. Now we just have to get the A-Team DVD out there, and I'll be happy.

One of my greatest childhood memories was eating dinner at my grandparents house every Friday night (I'm talking good ol' southern food) and watch a three hour block of TV including the Incredible Hulk, the Dukes of Hazzard and Dallas (which I was kinda too young to totally understand) ... that was back when I was still the only grandchild and got all the attention ... ah, such glorious days.
Seriously though, what?

I heard a rumor about a possible D of H movie and that Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson were fighting over who would get the part of Daisy.

Has anyone else heard this or what it just one of my coworkers talking out of their ass? I tried to search for it but got no results.

On a side note, I didn't realize how many nude pictures of Britney there were out there. That's really all I found.

Just interviewed Cooter live on TV this morning at World of Wheels, just across the street from Lambeau. He even let the reporter climb in the General Lee, honk the "Dixie" horn and everything. Super class act.

Again like A-Team and Airwolf and Knight Rider, we had Dukes DVD 2 of them out for about a year over here. If the other ones be any good I might get those ones as well. I loved Dukes and Daisy. Good thing about Multiregion DVD players can play all DVD's so far.

Check Amazon.co.uk for A-Team, airwolf, Street Hawkk, Knight Rider, A-Team and Dukes to compare them to yours ones.
