Try clearing your cache (Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Cache -> Clear) and see if the problem goes away. | cranlsn

Thank you...I've been liking this browser and was worried I'd have to have the Microsoft monkey on my back again...

Me 'n' Firefox have been seeing a lot of things like that, usually when I try to hit the "Back" button. I think it has a funny idea about HTML that's different from everybody else, but I fix 'em as I find 'em. | FMW

The same thing happens to me when I vist FARK in Mozilla. When I view a comments thread, I can no longer go to the homepage. | CRZ

You probably don't care, but what I've noticed is it's got something to do with relative links. If I use something like "A HREF=thread.php" in my HTML, Firefox forgets that the page I was just at has http://wienerboard.com/ in front of it and tries to go to (for example) "/index.php" instead of "http://wienerboard.com/index.php" - but if I edit the code and put in "A HREF=/thread.php" (note slash) it acts as it should if I hit the back button. Probably any defining of a base URL has something to do with it, too. I try to look at it not as Mozilla not working correctly, but me generating sloppy, possibly non-compliant code that I really should just fix...not that I wouldn't mind Mozilla covering for me.
(Also, I have no idea if this is what's happening with FARK or not) | Mild Mannered Madman
