Walmart, my friend has the special sneak peek figures. One of them is Jango Fett, the others are a clone trooper, an R2 unit and someone named Zam, I don't know who she is, because I am not reading spoilers. I would suggest you go now, because I got the last one there and someone was trying to hide between some other toys. Foolish child, never hide toys in a department story from an 80s kid.

A Fan- Good Luck Drew.

I watched the first hour and a half of "9/11". Two things that surprised me:

1) The massive WHUMP that each falling body made upon contact with the ground. I suppose that a 150-pound body dropped 80-odd stories would have a lot of force behind it, but it was still a surprise.

2) How DARK it became when the first tower fell. I can only imagine the noise involved when a 110-story tower implodes - I don't believe they could have picked that up properly.

I watched the last half-hour of WWF Weakest Link, but did turn back to catch DeNiro waxing poetic about how the World Trade Center site is "sacred ground". That makes him sound like one of these people who want to turn the site into a sixteen-acre memorial - which, in practice, would turn the site into a huge necropolis ringed with observation platforms and dozens of vendors. I shudder to think that New York City would be so short-sighted as to allow such a use for the site - especially when Chicago, San Francisco, Berlin, and Hiroshima have rebuilt themselves in the face of far greater devastation than this. (Besides, if we want to get into the whole concept of "holy ground", I'm sure the Native Americans who lived there first would like to have a say in that.)

Steph

P.S. I liked the XFL reference on the Simpsons - but I though XFL MVP Tommy Maddox was still with the Steelers.

I watched "Alias," which was the most frustrating episode EVER. (Just TELL us what it says, already!) I forgot the 9/11 thing was even on. I am *so* addicted to that show.

However, had it been on at 9:00 tonight, I'm pretty sure my TV would've had the program that is the less painful to watch of the two on. (The answer, sadly, is NOT Raw.)

I have to admit, I'm a late convert to Alias.

But I am total sucker for Illuminati-type secret societies and Renaissance pseudo-science.

First point: 9/11 was just unbelievable...Hollywood could never capture such honest heroism.

Second point: Neither Chigago nor San Francisco were attacked by terrorists, the cases are not analogous to New York City, so I must discard further mention of these two. I cannot speak for Berlin; however, Hiroshima was completely reconstructed after WWII save for one lone building that serves as the cornerstone of the vast A-Bomb Memorial park.

I believe the greatest testament to all who lost their lives would be to rebuild the towers--higher than before. Realistically, I think you build on the site, leaving an area--say where 7 WTC used to be--as the museum or whatever. I agree with you, Steph, they need to build on the site and bring the business back.

I bought the other bounty hunter figure, didn't get the R2 unit and didn't see the other two (dagnabbit). Thanks for the info tho. I've got to hit some other Wal-Marts and I loathe Wal-Mart . . .

I'm a Target man, but have been trying to support K-Mart when I can nowadays.

Will the figures be released in other stores or are they now?? Thanks again.
