| #1 Posted on 8.3.02 2356.56 Reposted on: 8.3.09 2359.02 | According to WDHA-FM in New Jersey, an Atlantic Records executive reveealed that the title of the upcoming Rush album is "Vapor Trail". The first single, "Little Victory" will hit airwaves in April, and the album will be released in May 16th, followed by a summer tour. In a separate rumor, another song from the album will be called "Her Summer", and will be about Neil's late daughter, Selena (of Selina...I forget). The second rumor doesn't come from a particularly reliable source, though, so take it cum grano salis.
A couple of caveats regarding the above...since Rush is Canadian, the album title would probably be "Vapour Trail", given that those Canucks put Us where they don't belong. The release date is suspect, given that the 16th of May is a Thursday, and records come out on Tuesdays.
I will attempt to verify all of the above with WDHA and Anthem on Monday. I'm holding back final judgement on whether this stuff is true or not, but here's hoping. If it is, I'll see you from the front row of the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA sometime this summer. | Promote this thread! | | CajunMan

Hey I.C., have you heard the WWF Jazz entrance theme, it sounds like a Rush song but I can't think of the name of the song. I think it is on the "Test for Echo"album? | FLRockAndLaw

"Virtuality" is the song title. It is on the album "Test for Echo." And I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one who heard the connection. :) | Excalibur05

No, I haven't heard Jazz's theme, though the precedent for the WWF using Rush tunes is there, as they had a ripped-off section of 2112 as Palumbo and O'Haire's music during the InVasion. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
