Sorry. I just wanted to be the first one to make that joke.
I marked out to see Danny make it back.
Not enough Bob or Chavo for my taste. Looks like Holly streches someone next week--any bets on who? I think Jake, maybe.

I still have no idea as to who's going to go all the way. For TE1 I thought Greg and Paulina were locked. I was wrong on that! But I'll go out on a limb and say Anni and Danny will make it. Guess we'll see how wrong or right that is in a couple of months. | rockdotcom_2.0

I think that combined with the exertion they were feeling led to him passing out. Plus if he did get seriously hurt and had to leave the show they wouldnt cut anybody next show. On another note, Im pissed theyre deciding to do stupid physical challenges. Isnt the Wrestling traning hard enough without doing silly "Survivor" style shit? This is no doubt MTV's idea. Im having a feeling Im not going to like this new Tough Enough. And I thought Ivory was being a bitch. Its not like the girl was dragging ass. She was doing it, She was just happy. Whats wrong with being happy? LOL.

Ivory did well in disciplining Smiley Girl. She did look a little turned on in the clenches. Only Sting and Dallas Page gets away with smiling a lot in match, cause they kick ass (Page as a bouncer used to throw out drunken wrestlers and wannabes out of famous bars, that's how he is so well-connected). In a match, someone like Jazz would stiffly slap the smile off Smiley (no, never Norman Smiley, but this Smiley), and maybe loosen a few teeth. Kick ass first, then smile.

But he could be the one that gets cut cause they are worried about him. I hope he is able to stay though, he was nailing that basic stuff better than anyone. Also I hope he stays because again my picks were Linda and Aaron.
As for bad PR? I don't think they did anything wrong, they aren't working them any harder than coaches of other sports. | Busyman14

Huh? Man you lost me here. Tough Enough is about wrestling and learning how to be a wrestler. I dont think any stupid obstacle course has shit to do with learning the proper way to do an armdrag. They are not training to be in the Navy SEALS, they are training to be wrestlers. Last season they didnt do any of that stupid stuff in the beginning, they showed the training for the most part. And thats what interested people. If I wanted to watch "Survivor" I would watch it. Did you notice how none of the Wrestling trainers took part in that survival course nonsense? Probably because the trainers know all that survivor course is going to do is get someone hurt unnecessarily. Wait, that happened. | shea

Maybe it has something to do with being able to execute a proper armdrag when you're dead tired?
If that's not the reason, then I have no clue why they had the obstacle course. Rockdotcom makes a good point, though: Why weren't ANY of the wrestler-trainers there? I mean, there are four of them; not even one could find the time?
On the other hand, I'll bet if any of the WWF wrestlers WERE there for the obstacle course, they would have stopped Aaron and taken him off the course before he hurt himself.

It's not a Survivor-type atmosphere. It's cross-training. It's for all-around physical fitness. Especially with this one, where they didn't make an effort to show it as a "competition" other than the one guy promising that at least ONCE he'd be fastest.
You can't expect to just work out in a wrestling ring to become a wrestler. You need much more than that, and the constant running of this obstacle course will, they're thinking, help provide that.
I bet by the end of the season their times will be cut in half, and they'll be smoking that course. | rockdotcom_2.0

Im sorry I dont agree, I think this is just MTV wanting to stick their noses in. When Tazz had them do the mudfight that was wrestling related. Running and swimming are good ways to improve condtioning, and with the rockpile that was at the end of the training. All that stupid obstacle course did is get that guy hurt. Make them run I say, make them swim too. But they proved last year that the wrestling training alone can weed out the weak ones. They dontneed silly obstacle courses run by half ass LA trainers to make them wrestlers. | Parts Unknown

We didn't see Taylor, Maven and Nidia hardly at all until mid-season. I think it's obvious Jessie and Anni will be the first two to go because they've had the most exposure. And Hawk is going to win, I've decided. Why? Because during the physical challenge in the casting special they showed a Hawk flying up the mountain. SYMBOLISM~! (I'm being sarcastic)
Actually, Jake and Jackie have my vote.
Side note: What's up with the lesbian overtones to the Jessie/Anni bedroom segment? Did you see them hugging and Jessie stroking Anni's leg? I stood up and yelled "LESBIANS!" when it happened and my wife got all pissed off and said, "Just because they are having a moment doesn't make them lesbians!" | #14 Posted on 8.3.02 1620.46 Reposted on: 8.3.09 1629.12 | This whole show is a bunch of bullshit. You have first Tazz, and now Hardcore Holly as the two bitter old bastards way past their prime stretching the trainees to make themselves feel like a man and no one is willing to strike back because they know DAMN well they'd be out on their ass if they raise a finger in their direction. You have a purposeless obstacle course that was probably forced on them by MTV. And before I forget, we have a bunch of wimps with little to no previous training (Hawk being the exception) who are willing to eat this shit up with a spoon for what? The "privilege" to work for that piece of shit, Vince McMahon! My personal plan for the longest time was to go back to wrestling school after I graduate college and work the indies, hopefully working my way up. Well, I may do the weekend warrior thing for a while (for kicks) but the dream is now to get on one of these shows and give the ultimate show: That is, the first time one of these "trainers" steps over the line, kick their ass until their nose bleeds! Sorry for the anger overdose, but I've been through wrestling school once and that was a great experience I'd recommend to anyone wanting to break into the business. But Tough Enough? It's MTV teaming up with a bunch of bitter J-brones (Al Snow and Jackie excluded since they looked like they actually wanted to TEACH something!) to haze a bunch of ignorant kids who don't know enough to tell them to fuck off, then find a real school! Yeah i agree, but when I was in Basic Training they had us doing some silly sh*t that had nothing to do with being a soilder. (let alone one who was a personell administrator aka Pencil Pusher) But what it did do was teach us dicipline and to finish whatever task needed to be done, even if we didnt want too, like and obstacle course.
Silly little things like that give whomever is in charge a good beed on whos a trooper, whos a slacker and whos putting forth effort and at least trying
