| #4 Posted on 25.2.04 1851.36 Reposted on: 25.2.11 1852.10 | Oh this sucks so much, man. I've been listening to this guy for like ten years going back to when he was the night guy on 93.3 (The Power Pig). I knew something was wrong when I heard rock music on the station this morning. They never played music on Bubba's show.
I could've sworn when they were talking about this issue on the air last week, they said there was a chance they could get fired. Can't remember exactly what happened. Something about that Douglas Vanderlain guy hearing something on the show he didn't like. So he teamed up with some political people that hated Bubba and they brought some action against the show.
I had to listen to Stern this morning, and I guess that's what its going to be from now on. I know Bubba took his style from Stern, but I just liked Bubba better cause he was local. Here's to hoping that he surfaces at another station and the charges are found to be wrong.
Where did those charges come from anyway? Use of illegal drugs in the studio. Yeah like that never happens in a radio station. Looks like Vanderlain had a mole in the inside or something...Bastard... | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
