Has anyone here heard what the "official" theme song for WrestleMania XX is? It's less than three weeks away and I've heard nothing about what it might be. Personally, since I'm more of an old-school fan I would LOVE it if they made the official theme song the OLD, original WrestleMania theme. That would rule. Or maybe Triple H will record a song for the event titled "Glass Ceiling" since we know he's going over in the main event anyways.

Do you mean that song which Linda used as her entrance music a few times? Great song, probably the only worth anything off of that crapfest of an "album."

But how good was Tatanka's song, just for comedic value

No, not the WrestleMania XI theme Linda used. I was talking about the one they used from WrestleMania I through about WrestleMania X. And yes, Tatanka's song was hilarious, I can do you one better. What about Bastion Booger's theme?

Wait a minute, you weren't just crapping on Randy Savage's "Straight From The Heart", were you? That part where the music slows down and he starts reciting the names of planets - brilliance. "The moon... the stars... Venus, Pluto, Sat-Turn. Yeah!"

The best part of Savage's "song" was the begining:

The tower of power
too sweet to be sour
funky like a monkey
ohhhh yeeeaaahhhhhh

Now that I think about it again, I have some great memories from that album. Just thinking about Mr Perfect saying "I can run faster than you, I can jump higher than you, I can do anything better than you. why? because I'm Perfect" makes me wish he was still around.
Not to mention that I probably still know all the lyrics to the Bossman song (he was a family favorite back in the day).

If you ever take a trip down to Cobb County, Georgia.....

I don't really like them, but Limp Bizkit's "My Way" was perfect for WMX-7.

I'm hoping they can get Christopher Cross to do a remix of "Sailing" for this year's.

What was the name of that song they used for WrestleMania a couple years back (WM X8? X9?) ... It had the line "I don't care about anyone or anything BUT ME!!!!"

I don't remember the title (something like "Falling Away" maybe? I'm not sure), but I remember the song was done by Drowning Pool.

As for the theme song for this year, I haven't heard anything, but due to the WWE's obsession with Linkin Park, Saliva, and Puddle of Mudd, I'd guess it would be a song from one of those bands.

Drowning Pool's "Tear Away" was X8's theme song.

Spell it out, guys. If WMXX is where everything begins again, there can only be one answer:

Actually "This is It" by Kenny Loggins would be cool for the older fans like myself. But I am surprised they haven't come out with a theme song as of yet. But going back to Linda's music would be fitting.

It was Tear Away
Include Limp Bizkit to that list.

Call me old fashion but how bout Phil Collins "Take Me Home" for the WMXX theme? They used it for the end of Saturday Nights Main Event and it makes sense, they are going home to the Garden. I know its not the best choice but I just wanted to add my humble opinion.

well since its not going to be Kara Mia...I would love them to bring back the old wrestlemania theme from the 80's...that was a classic!

BUT - for all you old-school fans - what about the song from the begining of all of the old Colluseum videos?? NOW THAT WAS EFFIN AWESOME!!
