We should have a holiday or something.

Seriously, what a great day. Calgary and Ottawa has already finished, and later we have Montreal vs. Toronto and Edmonton vs. Vancouver.

In between, there is a lot of coverage from Shaunavon, SK, and just a great celebration of our game. My favourite part so far was the backyard rink competition, won by the two households in Ft.McMurray. There's a tree("Woody")in the middle of the rink, and the Dad said "It helps the kids learn to keep their heads up." Priceless.

Nice win for the Sens today...much needed after they gave away a win Thursday night.

I love the Hockey Day stuff...Hayley Wickenheiser drilling the net cam was pretty cool.

Thank you, Ottawa! Those red hot Flames were killing the Kings.

Nice win for Toronto and Adam Oates scored for Edmonton...'bout time!

I wouldn't call it a "nice" win for Toronto. They nearly choked it all up the way they did against Buffalo last week.

And I really wanted Calgary to win. I will totally cry like a baby if the Flames don't make the playoffs.

Well, we've lost three straight (to Les Canadiens, the Sens and the Devils) so we need to turn things around our else we WILL miss the playoffs.

I'm hoping Calgary, Los Angeles and Nashville make the playoffs with Dallas and St. Louis being the teams that get left behind.

All these teams, with the exception of St. Louis, have been playing very well but St. Louis is only a good game away from going on a roll. Especially, with all the (healthy) talent that they have.

Predators Vs Kings on Monday night.....HUGE game for both teams.

It's a nice thing and all, but if I have to hear that debate between Nova Scotia and Quebec over who invented the sport one more time...

I think it's worth noting that I had the flu one Hockey Day and the cable hadn't been installed there yet. So I was stuck watching the CBC for 8 hours..but on the bright side it worked better than NyQuil :)

It's obvious Erica Lindros didn't learn to play on that rink
