| #1 Posted on 18.2.04 2002.38 Reposted on: 18.2.11 2003.24 | (image removed) I think the lady behind the desk at River City Cellars had trouble moving scots Pine Ale and kinda mentioned it to me. I'd drink yer pee if it's 170 proof so I'm up for anything. FUCK THE WORLD. This shit RULES. It tastes piney and sweet and NOT like Murphy's Oil Soap so I am happy to chuck it in my boozehole. My wife tried it and says it doesn't taste like Retcena wine (whatever the fuck that is). She made a face. I think she didn't dig it. I dig it. Has a real smoked ham and caramel taste that says "Dean has drunk too many beers in his life when a beer that can pass itself off as a deli meat tastes good to him." Mmmmmm ham. Alba Scots Pine Ale rules. Come for the piney. Stay for the hamminess. Idiot reviews say it's sprucy. I tell you that it is a succulent slab of fat.
BOOZE~!

I think you would need to include an ode to Baron and the lost 3rd Mulkey. | DEAN RASMUSSEN

Fuelinjected, I wish I had that tonight. It would have made it the perfect booze experience.
Thank you, young Redsoxnation, master of the Lucha Libre, the Baron returns in two weeks. | emma

The instant I read "It tastes piney" I thought "Eeesh -- like retcina". Y'all know how fussy us girls are -- we prefer not to drink our Pine-Sol, in either beer or wine format. :-)
edit: Chartreuse liquor either. Same principle.
