A non-Lalime goalie and a non-Rob Ray grinding forward are what the Senators realy need in order to get further in the playoffs this year.
It does keep him away from the other teams in the East, though, which is also a big consideration. Maybe now the Sens can trade another of their forwards to address their real issues. | fuelinjected

Reposted on: 18.2.11 1442.36 | I wish people would get off Lalime's nuts. There's no better available goalie out there. Actually, there's no goalie outside of Martin Brodeur who any team could have full confidence in to take them all the way.
Lalime was spectacular in last year's playoffs and got the Sens to within one game of the Stanley Cup Final. He was rock solid when it mattered. There isn't another goalie in the Eastern Conference who you could say 100% will outplay Lalime in a seven game series. | Socks
