No "Muppets Tonight," but...please check earlier in this very thread. (The W)

"Muppets Tonight" should be the next DVD release. I'll never forget the first episode.

Gonzo: And here we have T-B-A.
Kermit: TBA? That means To Be Announced!!!

That show got hosed, even IF Clifford was a little too "hip" for my tastes. I only wish someone would have shelled out money for new episodes on the Disney Channel or something.

I kinda liked the romantic side stories of the Muppet movies; as I'm a bit of a sap for that kind of thing. Muppets In Space didn't have that.

And besides, Muppets In Space didn't have Tim Curry. I think that's about 87% of the charm of Muppet Treasure Island.

But it did have an all-funk soundtrack. How can that not count for something?

Don't forget Muppet Christmas Carol, which kicked 19 kinds of ass.

Muppets In Space was a return to what made the Muppets movies great years ago...CAMEOS! There weren't any cameo appearances in Muppet Treasure Island.

I was thinking more along the lines of "Going to hell in a hand basket". The muppets have surrvived a LONG time. I hope Disney doesn't F*#% this up. If there anything like the WWE/F I could see a bad invasion angle coming with Micky/Minnie vs Kermit/Miss Piggy to see if they use the name Disney's Muppets or keep Jim Henson's Muppets. Oh the humanity of it all.
