This happened at around 9:12 this evening...(Thursday). Is it a glitch? Googlebots???
We're attempting to segregate users who got here from search engines and non-registered lurkers actually visiting here to surf around. I haven't decided if we'll keep it this way, go back to the old way, rewrite to explicitly say "these people are here randomly" and "these people are too chicken to register" or even if I've actually written correct tracking yet, so that's why it's ambiguous (unless you just read this - what?)
For the record, the first number is the search engine hit number - I think - and the second number are actual lurkers who DIDN'T get here from a search engine hit.
If I could just convince the lurkers to register we wouldn't have all this confusion. ;-)
The reason we're on this kick is our daily maximums have really shot up this week and we've been trying to determine why. Looks like the search engines are to blame/thank...so far.
Daily maximums this week: Mon. 118 Tue. 93 Wed. 115 Thu. 110

On a side note, looking at the Newest Users List, we seem to have a lot of females registering lately. I count eleven since the beginning of 2004. Might the Ladies' forum make a comeback or shall it stay dead and buried?

I know at least 3 times in the last week, I've went to search for something on Google in regards to a question asked on here and the first hit was the board. Of course, it was usually just someone else asking the same question and I'm always logged in, so that doesn't have anything to do with the numbers, but it's vaguely relevant somehow and I can't seem to stop typing this runon sentence, so we'll just go with irrelevance. | Guru Zim
