I have no faith that id can make a good game. I'm more willing to give the nod to a Half-Life game that I haven't seen over a Doom game I haven't seen.
On that note, this really isn't the time to decide. It's much better to decide after the games are actually released.

I dunno, man. I always preferred Return To Castle Wolfenstein for both multiplayer and single games. I'd probably pick up the sequel to that game, if/when it's released. | InVerse

Reposted on: 9.2.11 0031.00 | To me Half-Life and subsequently, Counter-Strike, had one major thing going for them--it just felt right. It's almost a smoothness to the engine and the way the game mechanics work. Whenever I play Quake(s) it feels like I'm randomly shooting my weapon hoping to get a hit. With HL you take aim and fire and boom (hopefully) he's dead.
