The previous record was 86, set the previous night at 19:57:54 (aka the "people hungry for PPV results" surge)

Most hits for this ENTIRE year, that's impressive!... Isn't that kinda like telling someone in early/mid January that this was the tastiest dinner you had since Christmas
Just kidding, I did notice the board was pretty packed after Raw.

Not necessarily. I know over at OO the number of daily posts as well as new registrees increases like crazy for late January, February and March. It's the result of everyone wanting to toss in their two cents about the Road to Wrestlemania. The rest of the year is a lot tamer. I don't know about Wienerboard, but I'm betting it's pretty similar. So spiking the biggest number in January wouldn't be that irregular. | TheCow

It's occurred to me, too. I'll scour the logs a bit more at work tomorrow.
I think our main influx of users is actually all the *brilliant* people who have been joining from Sasknet. Apparently, most of them live in the same house, yet don't actually speak because they'd rather get on message boards and talk to each other THAT way! | Jericholic53
