I'm sure no one cares, but I just scored tickets to the powerhouse Toronto Blue Jays home opener. Anyone else going to any teams home opener?

I'll be at the Padres Home opener on 4/8 in Qualcomm stadium, along with 65,000 other fans.

I wonder if they Jays will even get half the amount of fans they get in San Diego on opening day.

I'm trying to decide whether I can swing going to the Royals home opener. Of course, since it's the Royals, it's not like I have to rush to get tickets, especially considering they are playing Minnesota.

Hey, I am talking myself out of it just by describing the situation. Ugh....

Hey, the Twinkies are a good ballclub. I went up to Oakland last year and watched them play in July or August.

Yes, the Twins were good last year. Since Royals tickets are so easy to get, and the stadium is in a very convient location, I go to many games, including a Twins-Royals game last year in which the Twins won thanks to a wild pitch by some really tall pitcher who I can't think of the name of right now. McDougal? However, the Twins don't really pique my interest. Neither do the Royals for that matter. And, just because the Twins were good (and lucky) doesn't mean they'll be good again. However, they should get off to a nice 2-0 start before they leave town.

I'm just saysing I have no compelling need to go to Opening Day. I will probably go to at least one game that weekend when the White Sox will be in town, though.

I'm planning on going to the White Sox home opener. Of course the important game is July 28th...Carlton Fisk Bobblehead night. I will throw people out of line or nail them with a chair in order to get that gem.
