Patriots ran all over the Titans, minus Haynesworth, earlier this year. I don't think that will happen again. Eddie George is back on top of his game. Over the last eight weeks he has 168 carries for 633 yards for a 3.7 average. The eight weeks before that it was 149 for 444 for 2.9. The titans can run again, they are the best at stopping the run, and there is little to no chance Steve Mcnair will have two bad games in a row. His rating against the Ravens was 56.5; the last two times he had a rating under 70.0 it was over 140.0 the next week. Titans take an early lead throwing and hold off the Patriots running and playing great defense. It will be close all the way though. Final score 23-21.
The Pats were without McGinnest, Washington, and Vrabel too yet they kept George under 100 yards that game. Denver was the only team to rush for 100+ yards vs the Pats all year and the Pats were minus Seymour and Washington that game. Pats D is as healthy as they've been all year and have allowed only 1 opponent TD in the last 6 homegames.
Neither McNair or George are 100% healthy and the weather that night will favor the Pats (supposed to be clear and temps around 5 degrees at gametime).
I'll stick with my original prediction: Pats 24 Titans 9 | evilwaldo

Pats 13 Titans 12 - If you like defense you will love this game.
Colts 24 Chiefs 21 - This one will be back and forth the entire game.
Eagles 27 Packers 20 - The storybook ride ends here.
Rams 42 Panthers 10 - Not the matchup the Panthers wanted.

See, this is something that just.... cracks me up, and sportswriters speak it like it's the mantra. The last 12 games are gone. They mean nothing now. The Patriots do not have to win 15 straight to win the Super Bowl. They have to win Saturday. Then, one week later, they have to win. Then, they have to win February 1st. 3 in a row. No different from any other team. | haz

| #24 Posted on 6.1.04 0804.04 Reposted on: 6.1.11 0804.19 | I missed picking last week. Probably a good thing, because I would've got at least one of the games wrong.
This week...
Titans and Pats...
I just can't believe that the Pats will keep the smoke and mirror show going... In the first game against the Titans, the Pats had 160 yards and 3 TDs on the ground. No way that happens again. There is a reason that McNair was the co-MVP, he won't play badly again...
Titans 27 Pats 13
Colts and Chiefs...
Peyton got the playoff win he has been waiting for last week and the Chiefs do not have the D to stop him. The key will be whether the COlts D can do enough to stop the Chiefs O. Should be a shootout at the Arrowhead.
Colts 37 Chiefs 31
Packers and Eagles...
2 weeks ago I was pretty sure the Packers would roll over Seattle and then Philly. However, they will not win if they play the same kind of game they did against Seattle. As hot as the Pack are, the Eagles did win 10 of their last 11, not too shabby themselves.
Eagles 27 Packers 23
Panthers and Rams...
Ugh, Rams on the carpet. The Rams that play this game will not be the same team that showed up in Detroit. There is no reason to believe that the Panthers can hang in this one, but that is the one thing that worries me...
Rams 30 Panthers 17 | spf

| #25 Posted on 6.1.04 1116.54 Reposted on: 6.1.11 1117.24 | Well, after that stellar showing I busted out in Week 1, let's see if Week 2 can be better, this time with scores:
Philly 34, Green Bay 27. Philly has been in some shootouts lately, and I think this will be the same.
St. Louis 13, Carolina 6. Carolina's D will be stingy, but their offense will evaporate completely.
KC 30, Indy 27. Morten Andersen sets us up for the battle of elderly kickers with a game-winning FG.
Tennessee 24, New England 17. This one could go either way, but I just can't go against McNair's heart in this one. | Net Hack Slasher

It's okay I didn't get too mad because I did put my money where my votes were last week an cha-ching! But no need to brag, well maybe just a little more ahhhh Okay on to this weeks picks. I don't usually do it so early but here it goes.
St. Louis 26 - Carolina 19 - Rams offense at home will take this game
New England 21 - Tennessee 15 - The Pats are just to consistent
Kansas City 27 - Indianapolis 24 - Overtime field goal
Philadelphia 24 - Green Bay 18 - Please make me be wrong with this one | redsoxnation

Panthers vs. Rams: Carolina protects the ball, Rams do not. Rams have had trouble scoring in playoffs when they get hit. And, I have no faith in Bulger. Panthers 20 Rams 10.
Patriots vs. Titans: Its fucking cold. Doubtful any field goal will be made over 40 yards. Surest bet in the world in this game is under 36. Patriots 14 Titans 6.
Chiefs vs. Colts: Dome team playing on grass outdoors in January? Chiefs 35 Colts 14.
Packers vs. Eagles: Eagles are much better on road than at home. No Westbrook means no big play on special teams. Eagles still can't stop run. Packers 23 Eagles 13. | JayJayDean
