Meltzer taking #1 was just a matter of time. Raven as #3 was a shock, but I agree with Grutman. Read Raven's posts and you'll see exactly why he's ranked so high, as everything he says makes perfect sense (especially regarding Chris Daniels and Michael Shane, their recent changes in style, and how well those changes are going over with the fickle "smark" crowd). Eric S deserves #12. Say what you will about the content of his columns, but the things he says about wrestling are all true. And with the way smarks are turning against Rocky and Austin, it makes me believe that Eric S is the Nostradamus of the smark world.
And who can forget our own Matt Hocking at #89? Tuesdays at 2 am would just not be the same without the Raw Satire.

I like the whole list. I've just recently really started paying attention to Meltzer and the likes. It just seems like he (meltzer) is light years beyond anyone else doing this. His interview with Ole Anderson made me chuckle, because a lesser man would have started firing off some questions to Ole about "Hey buddy, how did the black scorpion seem like a great idea?". But Dave kept his cool.
Eric Schelk;fgski is one of the few columns I look forward to reading every week. He's got a good amount of knowledge about wrestling, plus I enjoy the little bit of politics and other info.
The only thing I can say is, where is NormanB. His column on Lethalwrestling.com, "What's going on?".. I haven't done a spittake at a wrestling joke in years.. But that was good stuff.

Wasn't Bryan Alvarez listed twice on the last list as well? Maybe it's some sort of inside joke that I don't get.
