John Madden signed with Monday Night Football today. They got rid of Miller, Fouts and Dickerson. Does anyone see this as hurting the WWF's fanbase, ratings wise, when football rolls back around? Without WCW around, MNF is pretty much the main competition for the 18-34 group the WWF covets. I don't know how Madden would draw in this group more than Miller did, but it is an idea to toss around. Anyway, thoughts? | Promote this thread! |             | Pheadfred

I kept hearing people ragging on him saying his past his usefullness, and he's more of a Harry Carey type attraction now. I don't think Madden will make much difference, I think actually having good matches will determine whether their ratings continue to decrease or change this year. It's so hard to guess what teams are going to be good. They should book a bunch really crappy teams and hope they end being real good.
