Find the latest RHCP and STP singles both pretty mediocre, haven't heard the Offspring album but "Hit That" is pretty shit except for that damn hook.

Agreed. They chose the most radio-friendly shit song to throw on when basically every other song on the damn album is head and shoulders above it. "Hit That" is possibly the worst Offspring song since "Pretty Fly For A White Guy", and that's saying something.
