This was posted under E! Online's First Look Section ...

"GOOOOOD MORNING BAGHDAD! Robin Williams entertaining the troops with a raunchy routine at Baghdad International Airport on Tuesday as part of a tour of U.S. bases in Iraq. Other celebrities turning up included actress Shannon Tweed, wrestler Curt Angle and stock car driver Mike Wallace."

Nice to see that they did their research ...

How many people spell Curt with C anyway really?! I'd chalk it up to a typo or something like that though in all seriousness :).

Curt Henning?

Sad that they got it so wrong though... I mean, especially since he actually WAS at some point a legit athelete. Seems like the black hole that is pro wrestling killed him for the rest of the world.

I can see some sense in Mayhem's "outrage". Imagine if the mentioned the visit of athelete Karl Lewis. Kurt is an Olympic hero too, dammit.

Hey, how many times do we see signs for "Rick Flair", "Brett Hart", and so on.

And those are from diehard WRESTLING FANS!

If we can't do research, how can we expect a third-world news organization to?

I'd be more upset that they misspelled "athlete," myself...

But in all seriousness, I think people named "Curtis" tend to go by "Curtis," while "Kurt" is the more common spelling of....well...Kurt.

Actually, Mick Foley can't even spell Bret Hart correctly. In his first book, it was Brett.

Does anyone know for sure if Kane's real name is spelled "Glen" or "Glenn"? I tend to go believe the "Glenn" myself

So in other words, nothing coming out of your column is good publicity? :P
