We don't need to be #1 to go deep into the tournament. #2 is fine, #3 is fine, I don't even care if we're 10th or 15th. But if we keep getting ranked #1 then we'll keep losing games and ultimately miss the tournament completely.
Sersiouly thought, that was just an ugly ugly game last night. Drejer was 3 - 12, David Lee was 1 - 12, most of those shots being right underneath the basket. Walsh was 4 - 13, and Roberson was 6 - 15. I like Adrian Moss's intensity but he makes stupid fouls too much. Al-Kaleem played well when he came in, I would've let him play more. There were some ticky tack fouls called I thought but atleast it went both ways, unlike another Florida vs. ACC game I saw recently.
What really makes me mad though is the EPSN article that was up. At the beginning of the Florida game there was article actually giving praise to the SEC (Mostly Florida, Kentucky, Aubutn, and Vandy) which has been rare this season. At first it said "we know Kentucky and Florida are good, but what about the rest of the SEC". THen after FLorida's loss they changed it to "We know about Kentucky and Florida being good...or do we?" Come on now, a loss to Maryland doesn't suddenly make us any good. Well atleast Auburn and Vandy continued to roll.
I am a Mets fan too, so I guess I should be happy for the Strawberry kid. I marked out for the Darryl chant. Promote this thread! | | HitTheSnoozeButton

Sure he might have hit some big 3's to pull you close, but he killed you the whole night before that. I know he's a converted shooting guard, but he takes way too many bad shots. I counted at least four or five possessions where he tried to singlehandedly take on the D of Maryland by himself. Just silly. And the jump ball he gave up that got the Terps the chance to win? Inexcusable. You guys need to let Drejer run the point as a Magic Johnson type guy...guarantee you wouldn't lose 5 games total for the regular season. | chuckc14

I hear he was wolfing down some creatine (or some other performance enhancing drug) over the summer to get bigger and now he's finding himself dehydrated and cramping 5 minutes into the game.
I still look at Walsh and his girlfriend, and think "WOW...if THAT guy can score with a playmate..."
Shooting nights like that won't happen much with that team...With Drejer playing well now, UF will be hard to stop. Question is are there enough shots to go around for these guys? | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
