If you haven't heard it off the "Unearthed" box set, the duet between the late great Johnny Cash and the late great Joe Strummer on the Bob Marley classic "Redemption Song" is available online through the above link (as well as a few more great tracks off the Cash box set. And pretty much all of "American IV", though there's really no excuse not to own that yet.) The song also features the certainly great, but very much alive Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello on lead guitar.
Anyway, it's an incredibly powerful recording from two of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th Century. I'm not ashamed to admit it brought tears to my eyes. Promote this thread! | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
