Enjoy your sunny days. Go drive your car (convertible even) and get an ice cream cone. Go to the beach.

We have about 28 inches of snow here in Central Maine and I am crabby. Grouchy old man this morning. I'm going to be shoveling until next week, dammit.

So there.

Boo hoo. We've had snow here since AUGUST*.

*-Well, we got a snowfall in August, then it melted. Then another in September...which melted. Then ANOTHER in October, which never really went away.

Let us not exclude our East Coast friends enjoying the B-E-A-UTIFUL Florida weather. I'll stop rubbing that in now, sorry.

I wore shorts to the mall the other day

Still, a 2 bedroom condo costs $300,000 here. It's not like we get the weather for free.

Ahh, and there's the rub. I'll keep thinking about how expensive it is to live out west. Yup, that's what I'll do.

2 BR condos start at $300K in my neck of the woods too. But then again I live 20 miles from NYC so it's all in the location.

Ah, Fashion Valley. I long for tortilla soup on the patio of the Crocodile Cafe. Drive-through Tim Horton's just isn't the same, Zim.

Nitpicking: Yeah you do, it's the housing that's a bitch. (ducks)

Yeah, we got about a foot, maybe a foot and a half here. And it's still fucking freezing. But at least it doesn't stop us from sharing a seat at a Pats game with a mound of snow.

There's another bonus. The NFL teams are much better out east than in California.

I'd also just like pieman to know that I'm wearing jeans and a T-shirt to work today AND me and Mrs. Freeze even went out for ice cream cones on Friday night and we ate them OUTSIDE.

We only got 13 inches in my neck of the Northern NJ woods but that didn't stop me from wearing shorts to get the newspaper from the end of my driveway - froze my nuts off and it amused my little girls but I too can say I wore shorts this weekend.

I was just in pieman's neck of the woods and my folks were remarking about how the weather there was just like the weather typically is here (low 40s, drizzly) instead of being viciously cold. It got cold the last day I was there (11 degrees the day we left at 8:15 am EST, nothing like unloading the rental car with all of Mrs. JJD and the baby's crap with a below-zero wind chill) but they were saying the big storm was brewing in the midwest and they snow was a-comin'. I guess those weather guys get it right, occasionally.

To think that the week before we went out there we got a couple of inches at my house and we marvelled that it stayed on the ground for three days...LOL.

He's taunting you, but he's not making it up. Y'know, it's too hot to suntan in the summer. :-)
(Remember, it was just a few months ago at SummerSlam when Coach & Al were sweltering in 125+-in-the-sun doing pre-game from outside -- that's our "on the other hand.)

mlslistings.com covers a lot of properties on sale in Northern California. Quick search there shows condos starting in the 200's except SF proper and where it starts in the upper 300's.

Weather reporting is quirky here; the morning shows have such a huge degree ranges to try to cover coastal to inland weather. So it might be 40 to 60 today, who knows?

Then there's that NBC sound on the Today Show which tells the local weather and traffic person to wrap it up and get back to Al Roker. Why do WE need to hear that?
