And I like it!
It reminds me of a book I read written by Studs Terkel where he just talked to people of various vocations, and would write down what they said.
The ending to this story was unusual, though.
It makes me wonder about how wrestlers whose biggest achievement is a position on Wrestlecrap.com?
Also, it makes me realize that Vince McMahon runs a wrestling business, not a rehab center. People make their own choices in life. Some people choose a path that ends in a nosedive in front of a few dozen disinterested people.
Nice writing, Grut. Promote this thread! | | Barbwire Mike

I've made a lot of fun of Zed over the years, but he recently proved to me exactly the kind of guy he is. With no jest and no joke, I want to publicly express my admiration to CRZ for how he runs his forums and the way he thinks about issues. I know I speak for all of us except a few of my friends who despise you when I say that we look forward to seeing you back on the web.

| #16 Posted on 13.12.03 1942.21 Reposted on: 13.12.10 1944.18 | The new one is also really good! I think it might be even better than The Heel! Very nice ending. Grut, you're an innovator. Here is a link for those interested: http://www.411mania.com/ wrestling/columns/article.php? columns_id=2345 Grut is really the only person I can think of to combine wrestling and fiction so well. I mean, just look at THIS: http://www.angelfire.com/ realm/wwffanfiction/wwf_slumber_party.htm Gives me a headache. Reminds me of Hanging Gardens from way back when... So be grateful for Grut and be glad that the premiere piece of original stories about wrestling doesn't end with Vince McMahon coming home and yelling about a hole in his lawn. | TheItalianJob
