People talk about the Hardy's and the Dudley's being stale, but c'mon, Rikishi is way worse than either of those teams. His tired act is played over and over again. Outside of popping the crowd with the stinkface, this guy is just plain boring. I used to get excited when he came out, but now it's just "yawn, here we go again". They really dropped the ball with this guy. Perhaps he is an example of not capitalizing on something when it was time to really go with it.

Rikishi seemed like he had such a bright future when he had that title match with Triple H on Smackdown! back in late '99 or early 2000. But ever since him being revealed as the driver it's all been downhill. Maybe it's all the injuries he's had that has killed him. I just can't put my finger on it. At least Booker went over him CLEAN tonight. It's worth keeping him around for a JTTS, I guess. | WTF13

Rikishi is just lost in the shuffle like a lot of other people. That's what happens when you have enough people on the roster to fill at least two promotions. | Qubber

| #4 Posted on 26.2.02 0930.30 Reposted on: 26.2.09 0934.18 | I've always kinda dug Rikishi in the past. I thought his mini-thing with Angle when he came back was going to go somewhere, but what WTF13 says is true: he's just another with nothing to do. Nowadays once the main eventers have filled most of the spots on TV there isn't much left, and it's the lower down guys that lose out first.
I miss the Rikishi Driver too, that was neat. I guess safety has to come first though, so if all piledriver variations are out then so be it. | BigDaddyLoco
