| #1 Posted on 18.11.03 1753.31 Reposted on: 18.11.10 1753.34 | I picked up the No Mercy DVD (along with the Flair one of course) at Best Buy today. Inside, there was a release schedule of upcoming DVDs. It seems that the History of Monday Night Wars disc has been changed to the "Rise and Fall of WCW."
Should be interesting to see a WCW DVD for once, unfortunately, WWE is telling the story and it'll have a sad ending. Promote this thread! | | Tribal Prophet

| #2 Posted on 18.11.03 1759.06 Reposted on: 18.11.10 1759.09 | What are you talking about? It'll have a GLORIOUS ending: "Vince McMahon fought off the government, rival promoters trying to move in on his territory, and armed only with a desire in his heart to leave the world a better place (for the children) then when he entered, finally defeated his greatest foe, the EVIL WCW"
I'll be honestly surprised in the top five or six guys in the company don't all have a 4 second "gloat clip" towards the end while slow-motion shots on WCW failing are shown in black and white.

or maybe a shot of the old WCW logo burning in flames, which by the way, I drew an awesome picture of, during my high school years. I believe I still have it around here somewhere | StampedeFan23

Yeah, he's writing it with Bryan Alvarez.
The Rise of WCW section should be interesting...how much footage of his steroid trial does Vince own, anyway? | A-MOL

Even if WWE is telling the story, it's hard not to end on a sad note. The company was downright pathetic.
