| #1 Posted on 14.11.03 1215.29 Reposted on: 14.11.10 1216.45 | To go with WWE.Com's new look, the site has begun a new feature called "True or False", where (apparently) two wrestlers are given a number of statements and are asked whether or not they think said statements are "true" or (wait for it) "false" ... The inaugural set of questions was presented to internet favorite Kurt Angle and internet pariah Kevin Nash; without checking the site, see if you can guess which answers belong to whom (hint: their answers won't do much to change the smarts' personal feelings towards them) :
Statement #1: Rob Van Dam is the greatest athlete never to hold a World Championship.
True. I think Chris Benoit is the greatest wrestler never to hold a World Championship. But if you’re talking about overall athlete, I would say RVD is.
False. I think Scott Hall is better than he is. And he’s way bigger. And better looking.
Statement #2: Ric Flair is the greatest World Champion of all time.
True. No doubt about it. No ifs, ands or buts.
True. Ric Flair is the greatest wrestler of all time.
Statement #3: The Rock has won his last World Championship.
False. The Rock will win many more championships. The Rock isn’t done here. I don’t believe that for a second.
True. Unless he wins one in a movie. (Laughs)
Statement #4: Maven has the brightest career out of any of the Tough Enough graduates.
True. Maven has proven himself and I think he will continue to prove himself and be a key player in WWE.
False. I heard Nidia’s going to be doing porn. (Laughs)
Statement #5: J'Lo and Ben will never make it to the altar.
False. They will make it to the alter but they will also end up in court for a divorce.
Who cares?

Agreed. Until he was stupid enough to go on Raw and try to match wits with Chris Jericho, I always found Nash to be a pretty clever guy. It's too bad "big lumbering oaf" and "goofy wiseass" never really went together as a character...at least not as one Nash would let himself portray. | BigDaddyLoco

It was a good use of his skills Mouth and wit and a good way to keep him out of the ring. He should be a manager or William Regal/Steve Austin type of character. Although when he really tries to be *hip* he usually falls pretty flat. | BigVitoMark

Naturally, Nash passed for cool by comparison. But now that he's been paired off with guys like Jericho and Rocky, he just comes off as a grumpy old man who tries too hard to be funny. | Net Hack Slasher

If you take everything he says seriously(i.e the Scott Hall comment), then you probably take yourself too seriously. I'm sure he's aware of what people assume about him, and he'll just look for an opportunity to play off on that. People will either love it or hate it(on the web, obviously most will hate HIM). But whatever, I'm not ashamed to dig him. | dMr

They should really let him play the laid back jack-off heel who doesnt give a shit what he says or who he pisses off. Not that this would help him be any less sucky in the ring, but if he's got to be on me telly at least have me snickering at him when I'm meant to.
Stacey just did one of these as well by the way, though with different questions. It was dull as all hell though so I'd be doing you know favours by finding the link. | JoshMann

And I get that, but the only thing is that when he does it, it's completely obvious that he's trying a little too hard to be funny. He might be a little dryer, but otherwise it's like what happens every time they put a camera on Tony Siragusa. Goose probably would be fine normally, but him trying too hard to be funny comes off a little forced...and in Nash's case, coming off forced is the enemy of trying to come off deadpan, like he tries to. | Central Park Jobber
