It's such a guilty pleasure ... I feel like I should watch it with all the doors locked and curtains closed so that no one will see me. Promote this thread! | | Simba

Anyway, I'm not ashamed to admit that at 31, I find this show quite addicting. I've been looking for a trash program to get hooked on since the dying days of 90210. The parents are hip, the girls are hot, and the stories are mindless. What's not to like? | Dagent913

| #3 Posted on 14.11.03 1541.55 Reposted on: 14.11.10 1542.39 | I started watching this show three weeks ago, and I think I'm hooked already. It's definitely another guilty pleasure show, much like 90210 was. I want to hate it, and yet, there I am, staying with FOX after 70's and Norm MacDonald.
The acting isn't very good, the parents look the same age as the kids, and something about the video makes it look so low-budget, and still I watch. | uberlou

| #4 Posted on 14.11.03 1652.50 Reposted on: 14.11.10 1655.45 | I dig it. I guess it is alot like the 90210 of my generation, thinking about it.
I was hooked from that start. I like the Seth character the most, I think. I'm sure many of us can relate with him.
I love the cast. I've been following Mischa Barton's career for some time and this is a good "break out" role for her. And Rachel Bilson, MY GAWD! *points to sig* I can't even think of enough words to describe how hot that girl is....sorry, I lost it back there.
Hopefully the show will last more than a season. It's got potential to be even bigger. Definitely my favorite new show of the season (next to "Joan of Arcadia")....well, until "Wonderfalls" debuts, at least.
And the show also has a connection to the Buffyverse, sort of. Jane Espenson (Buffy/Angel writer) wrote a few episodes and Rachel Bilson was a S.I.T. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
