My friends really seem to like it, but I'm more of a GTA/Getaway kinda guy. Although I must say, searching people for weapons and drugs, firing your gun in the air or flashing your badge to stop criminals, and the idea of a karma meter which actually affects the storyline is really cool. I'm just having trouble getting past the soundtrack (don't like rap? Be prepared to use that mute button, because there is nothing else), the slighly off sense of scale, and the less-realistic physics engine and car design (which reminds me of the impossibly plastic-looking cars in Tokyo Xtreme Racer.)
First Impressions: B- Interesting, but lacking oomph factor, from what I've seen. Definitely potential here, but the critical immersion necessary for these games isn't as apparent (ie: GTA and The Getaway.) I remain cautiously optimistic. Promote this thread! | | EddieBurkett

Not a good sign at all. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
