| #1 Posted on 9.11.03 0607.41 Reposted on: 9.11.10 0608.05 | -Hawks contribution- They talked about how the LOD was the first team to really bring the glitz and gimmick with the team. Shawn Michaels mentions their staying power (which he has a point). Also mention how they were a draw in every promotion. Dudleyz talked very highly of them, talked about how nervous they were back in 97 when they first meet them... The wanted to do something to remember the memory of Hawk so they did the Doomsday Device on the Raw after his passing. Plus showed exclusive footage of them taking a sign mentioning Hawk and placing the tag belts on it. Animal thought it was a classy thing to do.
-Outside the Ropes: Booker T- This wasn't the best, but I did love the Coach's pop-up correction, Those were too funny. Al Snow was asking the questions. Book says Ricky Williams has the best dreds. Booker didn't seem to please in the idea of having Rush Limbaugh over for dinner... Al Snow was says Jericho got his Jericholics, Snow has his Alcoholics (haha) What does The Book have? Booker answers "His fans are his family" Ahh come on Booker how about the Bookworms LOL. Coach pop-up says that The Book can only count to five.
-Lita fans- Wrestling fans are a unique breed, but Team Xtreme fans seem to enjoy taking unique to a new breeding ground. Lita is signing at a bookstore I guess even though it looked like a warehouse. Some fans actually seemed pretty cool and gave her a nice drawing. Some fans look like normal wrestling fans (ie wearing a Large shirt on their XXL body). And some fans were unique Team Xtreme fan, including a dude who dressed as Jeff Hardy(don't know if he was wearing the glow in the dark goo cause because the lights were always on)
-Hawk the person- Animal talked about how Hawk used abuse life. But how in the past few years he'd found himself and God. Shawn talked about it as well. Animal says how Hawk was part of his family and they never judged his past. Talked to Animal's son and daughter... Animal said they wanted to have one last match in the WWE so they did the one night only thing vs. Kane & RVD (oh that was not good, especially Hawk getting up a second after the pinfall). They also been writing a book together titled "Ahhh What a Rush"
-Legion of Doom vs. Money Inc.- A 6-minute segment, with about 4-minutes of match. LoD came out with Ellering and Rocco (man who thought of that up). Heenan had a field day with that little Rocco gimmick LoL. Animal requested this match. Not the best effort from either team. Lots of mistiming and odd looking moves and exchanges going on especially when Hawk was in there. (I was a bigger Hawk fan but he had an off night this Summerslam, Animal looked good though).
-Basketball Kid visits Raw- Hey is he filming the show on his phone! Fink throw him out! I'm told no video recordings and he's getting away with it. Damn Politics. He seemed happy to see the divas (how strange all divas would be robbing the cradle concerning him. I hear Ivory's got her sights already LoL). He meets the superstars who get paid a lot less then he does backstage. Mean Gene says he enjoyed being at Raw, I guess I'll take Geno's word for it cause Lebron didn't say a word. I guess that costs extra.
Next week we chat up about past Survivor Series. Or in other words our monthly recap of the Bret/Shawn, Montreal footage
Add in: Forgot to add one more then, Saw the John Cena YJStinger commercial, it's a pretty good rap. But are we allowed to say ass in a commercial. Ahh Cena, like every good mainstream rapper, selling out to corperate America in record time Word Life

I don't think they referred to him as "johnny Ace," did they? I was watching with my back to the TV working on the computer. I thought it was just "John L."

This was particularly noticable during Shannon Moore's match when Josh referred to Moore as "the leader of the Moore-ons", which certainly made me think about the fate of the only person who's actually, well, been one.
As long as I'm mentioning it, that was a terrifc match (Moore and Kanyon vs. Spanky and Paul London). | jwrestle

They somehow managed, through extensive research obviously, to show two of the worst matches of the Warriors' career.
And if there IS a god, can he please spare me Shawn Michaels yet again talking about religion?

I always call him Johnny Ace, force of habit. But, they did identify him as Animal's Brother. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
