Thanks.

BTW, I had NO doubts when replying in a certain thread, so unless you know what this is about, or haven't taken time to read the thread in which this issue has come up, should you not post either?
Whatever.

| #5 Posted on 7.11.03 2118.57 Reposted on: 7.11.10 2122.36 | Again, this is where my gripe is. I was not trying to troll, or be an ass. I simply pointed something out, that frankly, a lot of people agree on. And if that's an issue, then I want to know. In other words, if I happen to insult the moderator of this board because I comment on a figure he respects (I don't know if that's the case), then I would like to know, because when I strike back on issues discussed in forum, I want to be a responsible threader. I am not here to stir the pot. I've seen lots of different things posted here that were questionable as far as taste goes, but I don't think my reply was out of line.
Further, what is lurking? Is it along the same lines as trolling? Because if it is, that's something I don't want to do. I enjoy this board, and I think there are some awesome conversations with intelligent people that take place here. This is a community held up by you, your brother, and whomever you deem responsible enough to help you police this board. I respect that, and I'm not tring to find my way out of this community. Call it taking things a little seriously, but hey, sometimes this is the ONLY place a soldier can get into it with intelligent folks that know what they're talking about.
So whatever happens, fine. But I ain't haterizin', I'm just Wienerboard hypothisizin.

If you have specific questions, ask me in a Personal Message.
I'm leery about this whole thing because, frankly, I've had to ban both you and your brother on different occasions.
If you are getting the impression that we don't tend to agree on what is appropriate, I would think you are getting the correct impression.
I'm not sure what the answer is. If you feel like you want to hang out here, then I would recommend that you personally (and this is not necessarily aimed at anyone else who has not been banned in the past) think long and hard before posting. If you can see someone reading your comment and thinking that it's incredibly stupid (and you are hoping that we will see the charm in it, see past joke threads or Dusty impressions) then just don't post it.
Actually, that's aimed at everyone. If there is a potential that I could think that what you are saying is incredibly stupid, the odds are that I'm thinking that and it's annoying me. | Gugs

Can we make that an announcement, just to get rid of the Try to Have Some Class? That thing's been there since February, and it's depressing.
Of course, what's MORE depressing is that there keep being reasons to leave it up.
EDIT: Thanks.

I haven't decided if I want to delete all of the old announcements, which will cause the announcement to disappear from the forums. | TheCow

I'd guess probably the next time we need a group reminder that as benevolent as it is, the board is still a dictatorship. | TheCow
