Not sure where this would go, so I figure it would fit perfectly where nothing does : Random.
My problem is with the Yahoo Messenger program.
It's an interesting thing, really. I have a Yahoo ID and a passowrd, and I know that that they work, as I use them everyday to access my mail, the photo section, the calendar, etc. etc.
however, trying to access Messenger? Nope. Won't work. I've tried and tried again, but with no luck.
I've changed my password, accessed all the above mentioned services, and gotten in OK. Tried Messenger again? No dice. It won't work.
This is actually quite annoying, because I use Yahoo for the voice chat and occasional webcam chat use. I have a vacation to plan to Toronto and I contact my friends out there on an infrequent basis to confirm my plans.

Seeing how so many here helped me. I'm going to try to give back to the community. Hope this helps
First off, How do you get into your yahoo messenger? Did you upload the program on your computer (ala MSN,ICQ etc) or do you get on it via Yahoo website.
If all your ID's work. You can try to log onto my.yahoo.com and get in there. Look at message center, Which should have check email and check calender... And could have Launch Messenger. If it doesn't click the edit and add Messenger from "Available message" to "Your choice". You should have your messenger ready to go through My.yahoo then

Well, I used to use Yahoo voice alot for fight rooms and basically pissing people off. Lots of fun, if you have good shields. I had a similar problem after someone bombed me, with 10,000 'download file' boxes. So, it wouldn't be far fetched to suggest that someone might have just breeched the messengerís security.
