I did see it. My favorites were the Astronaut Jones and the Garth Brooks bit. I've never laughed so hard as when he says to Lorne, "Can't you see I'm talking to the host? Go get me a soda, BITCH!"

But the quality seemed to drop near the end, almost as if they were running out of good stuff to fill up a show with. Of course, when you go as unused as Tracy did on that show, I could see how that could happen.

I thought it was pretty funny, I am a huge fan of the Astronaut Jones sketches, and I love Brian Fellows. I think they could have picked a better Star Jones sketch. I laughed my ass off at the Harry Belfontaine impersonation (esp w/the Osama Bin Laden is an Uncle Tom comment). I also enjoyed the Tracy and Rachel show (so Jon how come you havent gotten Rachel pregnant yet). As far as the get me a soda bitch, they did that once before when he was talking to Jamie Foxx and Tracy told Lorne to go make him a sandwich.

Yeah, it was surprisingly good. I'm not a huge fan of Tracy, but some of his SNL bits have been pretty good. Not sure we needed TWO Brian Fellow skits, but whatever. I also think they should have used the Britney Spears Woodrow skit, but I'm just being overly picky.

His NBC sitcom on the other hand? Six weeks, tops.

I agree about the Woodrow/Britney skit ... that was one of his best ... I wondered how that could leave that one out.

I wholeheartedly agree. That is almost criminal.

However, I realize I'm in the minority (from posts here and some friends opinions as well) in loathing the Brian Fellows skits.

Totally. And I would have taken the weird "Tracy/Mya sing at a bar on Christmas" over the weird "Tracy/Mya sing on a subway", but that's probably nit picking.

Alright maybe a fan of Tracey can answer me this: Wasn't Brian Fellows' name "Bill Fellows" early in the skit's use? I could have sworn they changed the name somewhere along the line...

I missed the special, but TELL ME they did Tracy's old bits as

1) the 'other black guy' on SNL
2) Tito Jackson
3) Reggie White
4) Earl Woods

They should have done more highlights of his first 2 seasons. That waving bit he did at the end of every show was gold.

He was always Brian, but the last name is a topic of much controversy. Going by the title of the show his name would be Brian Fellow, but 8 times out of 10 Tracy kept the "s" and said he was Brian Fellows. Brian Fellow, THAT SOUNDS CRAZY.

"1) the 'other black guy' on SNL"

sadly no

"2) Tito Jackson"

"3) Reggie White"

"4) Earl Woods"

No and what-not. Tito and Reggie were not quite jewels of the Morgan crown, though.
