My job pretty much laid out that management is "strongly encourged" to dress up. So this year, I get to be Tony Soprano. I still need to buy up some sort of track suit or something. Then I can go to some place and play skeeball until I get enough fake jewelry to complete the clothing. Then I've already talked to my barber about cutting out the front of my hair, while leaving a few strands to combover.

The hair part scares me the most, because I'm 23 and I'm pretty sure I'll be balding soon anyway, so I'm kind of tempting fate here.

All I know is that I'm currently looking everywhere for one of those Spongebob Squarepants outfits that Horatio Sanz wore on a recent episode of Saturday Night Live. It's going to be a bitch to get this outfit in my car to drive anywhere though.

Me? I'm wearing an orange shirt with "COSTUME" written on it.

That's like Seth Green's costume on Buffy: regular clothes with one of those "My name is" nametags on the chest that reads 'God'

I may take an idea from Jason on Home Movies and be an insurance adjuster.
Or I may buy a ref shirt, find a yellow hankee and a plain white hat, and then call random penalties on people all day.

OMG that is awesome. I may have to steal that and use it as a backup costume incase I run out of paint one day....

If you want to confuse people, every so often start Red Carding people for stuff...

Last night was a friend's Halloween party. I sported sandals, a grass skirt, a Hawaiian shirt open over an "anarchy symbol" T-shirt, spiked wristbands and choker, and a straw hat, all liberally festooned with safety pins.

That's right, I was a Hawaiian Punk.

The only problem was having to explain the outfit to half the people at the party, but the groans were worth it.

Hmmm...at our ACW-NWA WI show on Friday, my promoter found some indy guy working with that exact same gimmick. Was it YOU!?!?!?!?

And as for my costume: I've already got the mask to re-paint, and the red boxing gloves. Gotta get a flesh-colored sweatshirt, black pants and red boots/high-top shoes.

Yes, I'm going as Strong Bad.

For this, I shall refrain from any jokes about my northern neighbor state for the rest of this year. That freaking rules.

Also love the ref idea, I may have to borrow that one sometime...

My original plan was to show up for work as Pogo the Clown just to find out how long it took for people to figure out that I wasn't just some fool in a clown costume and I'd be called in for a chitchat with personnel. For those outside North America, Pogo was a clown that was portrayed by late, unlamented serial killer John Wayne Gacy.

I'm wussing out and going as Bill from the Red Green show. At least I'll have an excuse not to talk to some of my idiot co-workers.

I've got some cardboard boxes, some silver spraypaint and various attachable doo-dads. I'm going as a campy, 1950's style robot.

My wife and I will be going as Drusilla and Spike from BTVS, respectively. I found a snazzy jacket from a Matrix Morpheus costume and will spray paint my hair white. My wife got a goth princess costume that will fit the Drusilla character perfectly. We even we studying up on Season 2 episodes to brush up on our character acting. Too bad most people don't watch Buffy and won't know who we are suppose to be at the party.

All I need is a flannel shirt and an eye patch.

One-eyed Xander, baby!

I think my wife's going to be Bjork.

My costume consisted of my regular clothes, but I hung a sign around my neck that read "Nudist on Strike". My roommate did the same, but he even made a hat that said "National Union of Unclad People". I got a lot of laughs and compliments.

I also have a friend who dresses kind of gothy, so for Halloween he put on khakis, a white Old Navy shirt tucked into them, and a baseball cap into which he tucked all of his long hair.
