| #1 Posted on 24.10.03 0744.04 Reposted on: 24.10.10 0744.35 | An interesting little tidbit of information I heard on the radio this morning driving into work, courtesy of Mighty John Marshall ... Some of these I've never even heard of, but I'm sure a person could track them down easily enough (*cough*hopetheriaaisnotlistening*cough*) :
10) Haunted House - Jumpin' Gene Simmons (not the guy from KISS) 9) Welcome To My Nightmare - Alice Cooper 8) Witch Doctor - David Seville (the Chipmunks guy) 7) Monster Mash - Bobby Boris Pickett 6) Werewolves of London - Warren Zevon 5) Purple People Eater - Sheb Wooley 4) Songs Our Mummy Taught Us - Bob McFadden 3) I Put a Spell On You - Screamin' Jay Hawkins 2) The Purple People Eater Meets the Witch Doctor - The Big Bopper (the world's first music crossover?) 1) Wolfman Jack and the Wolf Pack - Wolfman Jack
To be honest, I didn't catch the actual values of each individual record, but they all pretty much fell into the 75-150 dollar price range ... Overall, a nice Halloween dance mix if you can afford it!

Ye gods.
Were the songs you mentioned released on vinyl as singles, though? This list appears to be about rarity, not necessarily quality of the tracks themselves.
