The Flames recalled rookie Dany Sabourin from the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League to backup temporary #1 netminder Jamie McLennan. Sabourin was 2-0 with a 1.50 goals against average in two starts for the Lock Monsters, and McLennan is 2-0 with a sparkling 0.00 goals against average in 97 minutes over 2 games. McLennan had to be sharp coming in when Turek was injured after having a horrendous training camp. Now...we Flames faithful must put our hopes and dreams on McLennan. | Promote this thread! | | Socks

No chance in hell of that happening in real life, but I'd rather have a back-up (McLennan) and a rookie (Sabourin) than Turek and anybody. | richcon

Maybe he is just on a hot streak, but he is playing better than Turek ever did. You know with Minnesota and Anaheim both struggling, the flames might have a shot at making the playoffs. | Socks
