A month ago, I was wondering around the local HMV store at the mall, when I saw all these Cowboy Bebop DVDs. They had the Cowboy Bebop motion picture, and season DVDs (I believe they had season 1-3). I couldn't get them at the time, because each one was 45 bucks, and being a student I was dangerously low on money. Is it worth it to get these DVDs at these prices, and if so, which one should I start with: the series, or the movie?

Buy them from Deepdiscountdvd.com ($22 a voume, $20 for the movie) or the Right Stuff. All of them.

Watch Volumes 1-5, the movie and then volume 6. That's how the story flows chronologically.

Well the series is quite short. The english dub is by far the best voice acting in english. So yeah, the dvds are worth it. People known as "otakus, or something", despise the english dubs of anime, but they say this and along with fruit baskets is an exception, and some go as far as saying, they prefer the english dub over the original japanese verions. I think both versions have their good sides, such as the dragonball series, but, that's another story ; ).

I would suggest typing in DVD-Cowboy Bebop on Ebay and seeing what comes up...make up your mind about what you are going to buy from there.

I got mine from blueanime.com. It was like $30 for 3 DVDs that contained the whole series.
