A few years in ECW before they were the cult favorite we all love, doesnt make them that great. They put on some great tag matches, but I would say that in ECW, New Jack and Mustafa were more hardcore, as were the Dudley Boys.

But, for sheer HARDCORE, nobody in the Tag Team scene did it like the Sheepherders. FORGET that stupid shit Vince made them do, find any tape of them circa 1980-1983 and see what hard core wrestling was all about.

I will agree with the Sheepherders. But if I do, then I will also say (in Gary Capetta voice) TOMMY ROGERS!!! BOBBY FULTON!!! THE FAAANTASTICS!!! (end Gary Capetta Voice)

Seriously, in the UWF, these motherf@#*ers DESTROYED each other in the infamous and extremely violent Tennessee Barbed Wire match. IWA's stuff could barely hold a candle to that. One match was all they needed baby.

But I'd also have to say Cactus/Sullivan and Public Enemy as very close seconds.

That's easy! Stan Hansen and anybody he teamed with...oh, let's say Ted DiBiase (from AJPW).

I'd say Steve "Dr. Death" Williams and Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy could be considered hardcore. Their stuff in WCW was most of what I saw, but it was great fun to watch.
