Originally posted by Melon' Head"Life of David Gale" was definately the worst movie of the year for me, with its unreal ending. But I'll forgive Kevin Spacey for the time being. Most enjoyable movie of the year for me was "Cabin Fever".It was a clever horror movie that didn't take itself too seriously. However, I do regret not seeing "28 Days Later" on the big screen for it only showed one week here in Toledo.Any idea when it comes out on DVD?and will it have the alternate endings?

28 Days Later comes out on DVD on October 21st (Tuesday). It has 3 alternate endings on the DVD. (Or maybe it's 3 total endings, the original, and two alternate ones)

I mentioned this in the Kill Bill thread, but you really all must see Thirteen with Evan Rachel Wood. It IS the movie of the year so far, with terrific acting (especially by Holly Hunter) and an all too realistic story. Thirteen trumps all other movies right now.
Other honorable mentions go to X2, Bruce Almighty, Lost In Translation and the amazing Finding Nemo.
The clunkers so far are A Mighty Wind (bear in mind I dig Christopher Guest and most of his movies, but this was a big step back in my opinion), Freddy Vs. Jason (needed more comedy) and the worst movie I have seen this year...Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, so I'll say that I think Narc was the best movie of the year so far, narrowly beating out Matrix Reloaded and Phone Booth. But then again, I don't go to see movies very often.
