The shot of Mike Martz screaming about the awful call after they showed how "awful" it truly was ruled.

This year we've taken some bumps and bruises but we're still here and we're going to be the team to beat in the West...

I know the Seahawks have a 2 game lead, but there is a ton of football to be played yet.
I am intrigued by the Hawks' recent success (and the Rams' continued unravelling).
I hope the division comes down to some cricial games between the two teams. We'll see. | Maxx

They are like a younger version of the 99 Rams. Koren Robinson, Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander are the Triplets of this generation it seems. | TheCow

| #11 Posted on 28.9.03 1530.29 Reposted on: 28.9.10 1532.02 | Hold on there about the 49ers. They need to get some defense before saying that they're the best 1-2 (now 1-3) team in NFL. Sure, they outgained the Vikes, but giving up 3 TOs that led to 14 points is never a good sign that you've got a healthy defense. If they can solve those problems, then we can talk about how good the Niners are... but until that point, I'm afraid not. | Whitebacon

Their problem is that they blitz too often, leaving their corners on an island. This is fine if you have Mid-90's Rod Woodson and Deion Sanders as your CB's, but the Niners corners aren't good enough to defend Randy Moss 1 on 1. | DrOp

Very true DrOp, I detest bandwagon fans.
I'm not gonna lie and wish the 49ers well, since I have disliked them for being so good for so long, but I certainly wish you the best in rooting for them this year if that makes sense.
Of course, I'm still having to get used to not HATING the Broncos & Raiders as much, and actually having to almost, maybe, sorta root for them if they're playing another NFC team . . . I still root for a tie or the blimp to crash when they play each other tho ;-) | Whitebacon

Its still very OK to hate the Raiders. And, I'll be insensitive and uncaring in my happiness that that asshole Bill Romanowski is suffering from Post-Concussion Syndrome and may be out for the rest of the year. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
