Well, three minutes into the presale, the $105 tickets were sold out and before ten minutes in, all of the tickets were gone. (I only looked for packages of two... maybe there were singles left, but I doubt it.) I was shut out. Anyone else have any luck?

I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow. Does anyone know what percentage of tickets were on sale this morning?

[Edit: single presale tickets are sold out, too.]

I was also surprised by how fast they went. I was trying at 9:01AM for 3 tickets in the Promenade(300s). That was gone. Then I tried for 2 and was shutout. Finally at 9:20AM I settled for just one and got it for $80 in Sec. 408, Row. A. That best available option never worked for me, so I just selected the mezzanine.

Thanks to Nenz for the presale password. No thanks to my poor eyesight being unable to translate those scrambled letters with the funky font.

It's bittersweet that I had to screw over my 2 best friends, but it's every man for himself. Besides, they can always go to that weekends Fan Fest.

I'm going to Wrestlemania!!! Yay!

Edit: More detail added.

I originally got section 97, row H (Loge Level) but got kicked out during CC processing. Ticketmaster gets overloaded and does that sometimes. But I dove back in and got Section 73, Row G. Loge Level again. I was only trying for one ticket initially, which may have helped me out. Overall, I'm pleased, as I've never sat in the Garden's Loge Level before (it's the first level right off the floor), and I won't have to stand throughout the show to see now.

Two others and I managed to get 3 in the 300s and one in the 200s within the first 15 min. (all $100 a pop). Two $750 tickets actually came up the first time I tried. I tried to rationalize spending that much on a ticket by remembering that my trip to Seattle for XIX came to about that much with everything included. Even though I wouldn't have to travel for XX, I have certain objections right now to putting that much money at one time in WWE's pocket.

Yeah, I got 2 tickets in the 300s, but I saw tickets available in almost every section when I went in. I sympathize with those of you who got shutout.

The lesson as always: Ticketmaster blows.

Yup, I got tickets. I got in immediately and looked for a pair of $55 tickets. None. Looked for $75. None. Went back and did best available, and they loaded up a pair of $105 tickets in the 300s. Took 'em happily. Went back at 9:12 to see if any others were left, and nothing at all.

Sham, your clock must be off, because I got $105 level tickets about five minutes in.

I too am curious to know how many tickets they held back for tomorrow. I may log on around 10am just to see if I can get others. I'm guessing these'll be easily scalped. Any guess what a $105 ticket would go for now?

I second the thanks for providing the presale password, especially since I was the one originally asking for it. lol. I was a little surprised that wwe.com printed it; I was under the impression they used the presale as a way of rewarded past customers. Guess not.

A few months ago, I was using Ticketmaster to buy tickets for a concert. The only seats it would offer me were pretty crappy. (Once I got there, I found out they were even worse than they appeared on the map. Imagine sitting right next to a concrete wall that runs horizontal to the stage, meaning you couldn't even see half of the stage.

Reloading would occasionally offer me a different seat, but I was determined to keep trying. After reloading for an hour and a half, I finally found some better seats. Turned out they were about the best seats you could possibly get in that venue without standing right in front of the stage.

If they say they're sold out, they probably are. However, if they only offer you crappy seats, keep trying and there's a good chance you'll end up with something better.

And as someone suggested in the thread about how to get front row seats at Smackdown, there's always radio giveaways. A lot of radio stations these days have Internet feeds you can listen to the station on. Maybe someone can find an NYC station that'll be giving away tickets at some point with an Internet feed...

Well, I nailed a seat in Section 223 without a hitch, just a few minutes after the sale started. Cost me about $200. But then, I just specified which level I wanted to sit in, rather than letting Ticketmaster offer me the best available. I figured, I've sat in the 200s before (for Survivor Series 2002 and a Smackdown house show last weekend) and had a great view, so why tussle for seats in the lower levels when I can just go directly to what I know will be decent?

I agree completely. With Best Available, I probably would have ended up with floor seats 20-30 rows back, which may seem good, but having attended Summerslam 1998 at the Garden in the 10th row, I can tell you it isn't. You're basically forced to stand the entire 3 hours because schmucks in front of you do, or they hold up their fucking signs. So I aimed straight for Loge Level. I'm elevated 10 feet and I can see clear as day.

I usually hate these threads because I'm the one usually shut out, but I was on top of it this time! At 9:00 sharp I reloaded the page, put in 6 tickets for 100 bucks each (thats all my group was willing to pay each - I would've sprung for higher if it was just me) and booyah - By 9:02 I had my tickets! I guess, hearing your stories, it's not usually this easy. I guess I was lucky - See ya'll at Mania!

By 8:57, I was reloading like crazy, and finally at 9 they let me through. Went to best available and got two $100 ones in section 333. Is that any good?

Actually, I really don't care if they are bad, this is fucking WRESTLEMANIA we're talking about. It's on pace to being one of the greatest events ever. Foley, Rock, Hogan, everyone wants to return for that one event, and who knows what else will happen. I can't wait. My first time in the Garden, too. It'll be a classic night.

I can say from experience, there really isn't a truly "bad" seat at MSG. It's a fairly small arena, especially for being as famous as it is. I've sat low, I've sat high (even had the absolute last row in the house for SummerSlam 98) and I can tell you that it's not so bad. I'm in section 319...check www.madisonsquaregarden.com, they have the seating chart you can look up....300's aren't that bad.

Well I wonder what the WWE will do now that they told everybody that tix go on sale sat and now the event is already soldout before tix went on sale? Did the WWE actually think that this password for pre-sale would stay secret?

This why I was hoping the WWE would do WMXX at Giants Stadium or Yankee Stadium.

It's not sold out...

CajunMan, the WWE evidently didn't think the password would remain a secret -- they announced it on their own website! As I alluded to earlier, that surprised me. I always thought the presale was supposed to be a reward for the previous customers. I've always liked the "tickets for [insert PPV here] go on sale at intermission of the previous house show" bit they've done a couple times. Reward the local hardcore fans.

I'm in Section 303, which looks to be in the corner. Ah well, at least I have aisle seats. lol. I'll try again at 10am tomorrow and see if I can do better; if I can, I'll sell these tickets and use the others.

i logged on from england for the equivalent of 9.00am and got details typed in and got told results would be shown in under a minute so thought cool. oh no no tickets. tried for 2 at $54 then 2 at $79 then 2at$104 then 2 any price. by the time i had done this and phoned a mate who also tried same it was 4minutes past.gutted. however after going last year i wasnt going to miss out so got 2 400 level tickets off ebay for $300. more than expected but for the extra $100 each it was worth it to avoid watching it on ppv and feeling distraught. hey mar 14 2004 i'll be in new york watching wrestlemania xx. get in there. whoooooooooo!

Ok, ofcourse this is a little late and this wont work ofcourse for the people that live in or near NYC and want to go..

But why doesn't anyone seem to be aware of the travelpackages WWE makes for their big PPVs?
Because of this I have had my WM tickets since errhm...july.
For about 750 dollars I have a seat in the gold section, on the floor. basically behind the "take your seats home" section.
Also tickets to two special events and 3 nights in a hotel.

And, according to the mailings I got there is no fan fest ala Axxess this year. Makes sense as IMO Axxess has started to be repetitive (if you have been to WM for a few years in a row that is) and there is little room in the MSG area.

If WWE was smart, they'd open up the theatre next door for tickets as well. Remember at Summerslam 1998, when they had the Shamrock/Owen Hart Lion's Den match in that building? Those fans got a live treat, and WWE made some more cash.
