Out of all the returning nWo wrestlers Scott Hall is the one I've been the most excited about. Just seeing The Rock get Razors Edged on Monday night made the whole Rock-killing segment worth it.

However, it seems like every cruddy newsboard I visit has nothing but bad things to say about Hall. Some say he's gonna be fired because he told the Dudleys he can't wait to kick out of the 3D. Others say he'll be fired because he brings the morale of the entire world down with his vile existance. Even cruddy 1wrestling says that Nash doesn't have a match at Wrestlemania yet just in case Scott Hall doesn't stay in the WWF long enough. Whassupwitdat?!

Yeah, seeing as he is the most talented of the NWO, I can't believe how much the news sites are jumping at the oppurtunity to bad mouth him left and right. I usually take anything dealing with backstage reports with a grain of salt, and advise you to do the same. He's taken Undertaker's place as the guy messing everything up.

Both the Observer and the Torch, in their print editions, told a story (or stories) of Hall making comments along the lines of "I can't wait to start burying people" which may or may not have been tongue-in-cheek statements based on the stories of glass ceilings that Hall, Nash and Hogan were somewhat responsible for in their WWF and WCW pasts. If it was tongue-in-cheek, then it should smooth over quickly, but if it wasn't, it probably ruffled a lot of feathers in the back, which is something that none of those three need to be doing based on the reputations that follow them. I'd say that this story has been blown out of proportion, but it apparently has a grain of truth in it.

Honestly, during the Razon Ramon days, Hall was one of my favorites and he's the person I'm most excited to see as well. Hopefully he won't fuck around and get fired, because he's the only one of the nWo that is willing to do the job on a regular basis. Plus, he can actually wrestle from time to time.

"Plus, he can actually wrestle from time to time"

Understatement of the year! The man actually proved several times that he could work a better match drunk than quite a few guys could sober! I'm not kidding. The guy has skills and I actually look forward to seeing him in the ring again. Correction: In the ring WRESTLING, not the dumb-ass skits.

I don't mind Scott Hall to be honest. Though, I hope Vince considers rehiring Eddie Guerrero down the road if he gets sobered up.

I think the people badmouthing Hall are just jealous because Hall works for the WWF and they write about the WWF on the internet.

Personally, I think it's just that the people who write for those sites are looking for ANYTHING to write about that is negative. Cause negativity=brings the RATINGZ!

As eviljohnhunt said, take it all with a grain of salt.

Some of it might be because he looks like death warmed over. I'm sure he probably still has skills, but he looks like crap. Nash and Hogan look better than he does, and that's pretty sad.

You gotta give credit where it's due. Scott is one of the best WRESTLERS in the business when he want's to be much like Randy Moss. Plus he's funny as hell; everyone remembers the 'puking' thing. But what about him and Nash vs. the strippers? That was the funniest shit I ever seen. He and Steve Austin are similar in the way they improvise and make stuff funnier. This is gonna be a great feud I just hope it lasts long enough to reach its potential.

I may be in the minority on this issue, but I really don't want to see a Scott Hall/Steve Austin match at Wrestlemania. Why does Austin have to wrestle the lowest profile member of the group on the biggest show of the year? Besides, does anyone actually think that Austin will take the Razor's Edge with his bad neck?

I think Austin and Hall could have a good match at Wrestlemania. I think both of their characters complement each other very well.

No, I don't think that Austin will take a Razor's Edge with his bad neck, but I also don't think Hall is going to beat Austin either.

I'm coming to the NWO fresh, since I never watched WCW and wasn't watching wrestling at all when Hall and Nash were in the WWF. I've literally never seen them wrestle, though I have seen Hogan on old tapes from the '80s. From that standpoint of near-total ignorance:

Hogan sure can cut a promo. Gosh. I was in awe of that duet with Rocky on Raw. He wrestles, to paraphrase Lou Thesz, like an old woman, though it looks like he's worked his body fat down to negative percentages. The do-rag is a positive benefit, since the first time I saw his scalp crawl over his skull I nearly screamed aloud.

Nash sure is big. Wow. I hear he's not much of a worker, or at least doesn't try very hard. I'm a mark for size, I admit, and the man's good-looking even with the blond Breck Girl mane. But size ain't everything. I don't care for Big Show because of his laziness. If Nash puts out some effort, I may end up wanting to see him.

And on subject, Hall sure looks puffy. Ugh. I hope he can wrestle, because he's obviously been torturing his liver for decades. However, who is going to work with him? I don't know that I'd trust my career to a guy who's retaining that much water. If he's had better days, no wonder he's catching heat online. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now, since I'm the soul of charity...

I agree totally about not wanting to see Austin/Hall...at least yet. Austin should have gotten Hogan or Nash for such a big event. I've seen it argued that it will raise Hall to a mian event level finally, but I think that should be saved for one of the "minor" PPVs. Austin/Hogan would have had the 'biggest of the 80s vs. biggest of the 90s' thing going for it, and Austin/Nash would have had the original badass WWF tweener vs. the all time best WWF badass tweener.'

And who can't wait until we get another SURVEY? Him and Nash made me laugh so much. hopefully we can see some more. Personally I'd rather just see Hall and Nash and no Hogan in the WWF, but hey. at least we can see the rock make hogan look like a fool.

Rock vs Hogan is better imo than Austin vs Hogan, simply because Austin wouldn't take much crap from Hogan and a stunner later the feud is over. Or he would WHAT? him and we all know how much fun that can be..
Rock however likes to duel with words and Hogan is a talker too so heh..go for it..
Nash vs Austin? Why? What could Kevin do to Austin to generate interest? Measure him up and deliver a wicked elbow in the corner? 5 big knees in the corner, whip him to the other corner and 5 more? You see my point here I hope..

Scott Hall on the other hand..he can work a mic..can play the funny guy and thus work with the What? thing with Austin and he can work a match. No way any of the two others could have stunnered Austin btw. Remember Hogan's diamond cutters on DDP? If you do, poor you..

And as we all seem to feel he is the least of the 3 nWo guys in name. He is the only non-WWF Champ. Thus they have to put him over in a different way than just being big and saying I held the belt..and why not make a feud between Da Bad Guy and the Toughest SOB..

OOOOh..just noted Challer said:

'eh yo' "WHAT?" Survey says..... "WHAT?" etc etc

I agree that the match for Austin/Hall will be better, but the appeal on such a huge stage just isn't there for me. I repect others feeling differently, but Nash/Austin just seems like a bigger deal to me. And I would, like to see Austin/Hall, just a little later on down the road. Maybe at Backlash. It would be a great fued- just not Wrestlemania caliber in my eyes. I think Hall coulda benefitted from having an upper mid-carder to defeat at WM to build him up some more for a fued with Austin.

Survery with 'What' does sound pretty funny!

True, it might sound less than Nash-Austin but that is from the pov of someone who knows who Nash is. Who knows he is a bigger name..
I guess from th 'all 3 members of the nWo are just as evil to deal with' POV it doesn't matter who he faces and thus again Hall is the better choice.

It's funny that apparently everybody badmouths Scott for something that is just a rumor and actually is a nice little add on to the whole angle (them working their backstage politics) while all I read on this board is that he pretty much rules.

A friend of mine keeps reminding me of a German show we attended. Hall vs Finlay. Scott was obviously drunk yet he pulled out an amazing match. Partly ofcourse to Finlay but still..they worked great together. Both selling stuff and dishing out stuff..One of the matches of the night..
Why did I mention this? Just to add to my feel that this guy oozes machismo and is still a good addition.

I don't care how drunk he gets. I think it's his up to him if he want to drink himself to death as long he isn't trashed in the ring and cripples someone.

My problem with Drunk, Lazy and Orange is that they shit on people in WCW. That 'tude they have is apparently the real thing and they are total pricks. So far in the WWF, they still travel together, still are in limos, still show up late and still think they are above everyone cause they don't feel that they should work as many dates.

I was willing to give them a chance if they acted like they were going to push the company and not themselves but from everything I have read they are still the same assholes they have always been.

On the contrary, I've read a few places that Hogan is Actually better to work with than people "in the know " say. And that wqas coming from people he, ya know, worked with- not some guys that write on wrestling internet sites. And if you're gonna ask who has said that, unfortuantely I can't tell you right now 'cause I don't remember. But if it springs to mind, or anyone else remembers an interview with someone saying something liek that, I'll let you know. So I wouldn't go by what 1wrestling or some other site is saying. I'd go by what you see on your tv screen. If Hgan is an old lazy piece of shit that is hurting the product, Vince will yank him off. If we see good stuff out of him, and a somewhat decent WM match against Rocky, then just ENJOY. I don't know why people care so much what is going on behind the scenes anyways. It ain't hurting you.

Yeah, "Drunk, Lazy and Orange" as you call them, might be assholes, but ya know what? I bet there's A LOT more guys in wrestling that are assholes. Maybe even bigger ones too. Hogan, Hall and Nash just get that much more attention because they are in the spotlight. And they never would have gotten in the spotlight if there wasn't a reason.

So just relax and enjoy shit like the Rocky/Hogan confrontation last Monday night. 'Cause ya know it was damn entertaining. And if you absolutely refuse to give them "another chance" then just don't watch.

Or maybe it's good that there are people that think like this. Seeing as how this is what the WWF wants you to think. Hall, Nash and Hogan are poison? That sounds like an awfully familiar storyline going on right now, eh? Maybe a guy by the name of Vince is the one telling everyone about how those evil NWO guys are wearing NWO shirts and riding in limos.

Hide the children! Three of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling rented a limo!
