| #1 Posted on 19.9.03 1044.51 Reposted on: 19.9.10 1045.58 | I have Drew Bledsoe and Tom Brady for my QBs in one of the leagues I'm playing in, and I'm having a really tough time deciding who to start.
On one hand, I'd like to go with Brady since the Jets seem inept on offense and, as a result, I can see him having a short field to work with at several points during the game. Also--Donnie Abraham will be sitting this one out.
But on the other, there's a really good chance that Bledsoe can put up big numbers, even though he's facing a tough Miami D. Miami's DBs are healthy, but again, the Buffalo D could also provide the offense with a short field from time to time, giving Bledsoe a chance to put up some big numbers.
So if it were up to you, who would you go with?

all that said, I'm trying to decide between Brady & Hasselbeck myself - leaning towards Hasselbeck and the high scoring seachicken offense | BigVitoMark

The Jets D is much more likely to give up a big passing game, plus there's a chance Bledsoe could find himself on his back for a good portion of the game. The Bills o-line hasn't stood up well to the Dolphins for years.

Moss isn't on the Patriots. We wouldn't take him. He's Grandpa Vinny's prime target... the Pats have Brown, Branch, Patten, and Johnson. | Whitebacon

The Jets defense is not what one would call "good", of course, the Patriots D is losing players by the day. This game could turn into a shoot-out. Miami's secondary is hurt, but they should be getting healthy, and it's more likely for Bledsoe to have a horrible day than it is for Brady to have one. | BigVitoMark

Eric Moulds > Santana Moss
Eric Moulds also > New England WRs
Patrick Surtain/Sam Madison > Ray Mickens/Aaron Beasley

Well that's what I thought last Sunday, but I was rethinking with the weather factor. Minnesota at least seems to have some running options, whereas I can't figure out what NE is trying to do with Antowain Smith. So - Brady is going to have to throw the ball no matter what.
Wait. They have a dome in Detroit, don't they. I just realized how stupid I've been. Nevermind. | Bullitt

| #15 Posted on 19.9.03 2134.33 Reposted on: 19.9.10 2134.47 | I was leaning toward Brady because of New England's lack of a running game, but then came the argument that Miami's pass D is dead last and thus susceptible to Bledsoe's arm. And as of now I'm still undecided. Who knew that having two solid QBs would be so frustrating? Guess I'll just have to flip a coin.

Just as an aside, somebody needs to DROP whoever decided to change things at ESPN.com so that you have to have a team there to view all the Hector & Victor stuff. Hell, I might get a chance, but that was really uncalled for on their part. | Broncolanche
