Sounds like the usual gloom and doom prophecy to me... in 2005 about half the people mentioned will be gone or retired anyway, so obviously the payroll will be lower...
or maybe i'm annoyed since this is taking precedent over the performances by Randy, Curt, and Brandon these past few days...

Actually, I think they'd be better off not getting into a bidding war with the Mutts over Guerrero, which probably would be in the 15-17 million range, and instead sign Tejada and Milwood for 10 million each, and then sign another 2 solid pitchers. | PalpatineW
