| #1 Posted on 19.2.02 0938.39 Reposted on: 19.2.09 0955.47 | So we have a Wrestlemania opponent for Hogan (Rocky), and apparently one for Hall (Austin), so what do they do with Nash? Originally I thought they should have gone with Nash/Undertkaer, but I can see why they didn't because they apparently want to keep Undertaker heel. It would have been interesting to see the Wrestlemania 12 rematch, no matter how brutal it would have been.
My guess now is that we get Nash/Kane or Nash/Big Show. You know it's going to be somebody pretty large. I think their best bet would be to put him in there with Austin.
Hall/Austin seemes kinda weird to me. I don't see much appeal to it other than it would probably be the best actual match of all the NWO match ups. And it kinda seems like a step down for Autin since Hall has never really been the main event guy. I think Austin/Nash would be a bigger draw than Austin/Hall. Austin/Nash would be interesting in the fact that Austin kinda took over Diesel's role in the WWF as the bad-ass tweener who doesn't give a damn about authority after Nash left. Austin just did it better. Maybe they will still go with this match. Who knows. Promote this thread! | | Quezzy

| #2 Posted on 19.2.02 0957.07 Reposted on: 19.2.09 0959.02 | I was thinking the same thing and asked my friend the same thing. So far for wrestlemania you have...
The Rock vs. Hogan Chris Jericho vs. Triple H Stone Cold vs. Hall Flair vs. Undertaker APA vs. Spike/Taz (atleast for the moment)
My first thought was also Nash vs. Undertaker, but then I thought he should stay heel, and apparently he will. And Undertaker vs. Flair, although it might not be pretty is two legends and is a great fantasy match up. Actually now that i think about it, I think Undertaker should go nWo more than anyone else. Sure he's another old guy and not great worker, but with his "get no respect" angle he has the best reason to turn his back don't you think? Plus he's pals with Vince who as far as we know is still with the nWo.
My next thought was that it would probably be someone like Kane or Big Show like you said.
The only main eventer left is Angle and I doubt we'd see two heels go at it.
I think RVD vs. Nash would be a pretty interesting match up, but it looks like RVD will continue his feud with Goldust as will Edge with Regal.
I'd like to see Benoit get a match with Nash and see how many german suplexes he can get on him, but that will have to wait a while.
I guess the most likely possiblity is that he wrestles Kane or Big Show.
Or maybe he tags with X-Pac instead of Hall and they get in the tag title match somehow. | SerWolfe

maybe the undertaker and nash will mix it up down the road... you better show some respect boy! | littlest

His foot/knee problems have left him with even less mobility than usual, which wasn't much to begin with. And depite the visually-slimming black t-shirt, it's obvious he's carrying around a nice little beer belly. I never watched WCW much, especially during NWO's heyday, but anyways, is that what Nash's jacknife is supposed to look like?? It kinda looks like he just dropped Rocky. I wasn't sure if that was a mistake, or the way the move is supposed to look. I did, however, remember the Razor's edge...it looked pretty damn good to me! | TheBucsFan

It's supposed to be a powerbomb. He once dropped someone almost on their head (I believe it was the Giant) and from then on it became more of a "powerdrop". I guess he's just afraid to hurt someone with the real thing. | SerWolfe

also... i dont remember hearing that much about nash's leg injuries.. how bad where they?... i was kinda looking forward to seeing him in the ring... | Quezzy

| #12 Posted on 20.2.02 0105.59 Reposted on: 20.2.09 0127.11 | This far back is kind of cloudy cause I don't have a good memory but I believe after Nash injured The Giant (Big Show) with the powerbomb they actually made an angle out of it that the powerbomb was outlawed. Anytime anyone did it they would be fined (and maybe arrested too), then I belive Hogan said that if Nash did the powerbomb he would pay the fine. So Nash still used the powerbomb sometimes and would get arrested and fined, and Hogan would pay for it. Eventually Sting wanted a match with Kevin Nash so badly that he told JJ Dillon to reinstate the powerbomb for the match. I think ever since then he's been using the new version of the powerbomb.
Also, I agree, that was a great Razor's Edge. | BigDaddyLoco

The Undertaker is too busy to throw Soupbones at Nash, but Kane would be an interesting choice. It would probably mean Nash going over Kane which would suck, because I'm quite the Kane fan.
Can you imagine how much cooler the INVASION would have been with these three in it.
I agree with Moe it will be Nash/Hall vs tag champs but I don't think they will be the APA. I would like to see the Dudleys go over the Outsiders myself...but how cool would it be to see E&C vs the OUtsiders for the title. The WWF really broke up the wrong tag team in my opinion. | dMp

Nash vs kane sounds alright..especially is Kane destroys him just because he had to play Diesel
After fucking up the Giant powerbomb they indeed turned it into an angle (I believe 50,000$ for one powerbomb?)

hmm..wasn't it something like six months from now? I am not sure..could be 'he was shelfed for 6 months and will be back in two' He basically had his neck fused together just like Austin and Benoit so I guess it will take quite a while.. | The Masked Hungarian

1) Edge - is it safe to say he's not getting that IC belt from Regal? Time to move on to a different program. No worries about Nash getting face pops here.
Or, if you want to hide Nash's "wrestling deficiency,"
2) Maven - I could easily see Nash, just for shits and giggles, challenging Maven for the HC title. |
