Um... I'm not sure I want to know how long it took you to type that.

It'd be easier for me to list my systems:
ATARI: 2600, 5200, 7800, 400 computer, XEGS, Jaguar
MATTEL: Intellivision I, II, System Changer (2600 adapter), Aquarius
COLECO: ColecoVision
OTHER CLASSIC-ERA: Vectrex (x3), Odyssey^2, Bally Astrocade
NINTENDO: NES, SNES, Virtual Boy, some Famicom/Super Famicom carts
GOLDSTAR: 3DO
SEGA: Master System, Genesis, CDX, Saturn (modded), Dreamcast
SONY: PlayStation (x2, 1 modded), PlayStation2
NEC: TurboGrafx, TurboDuo, PC-Engine adapter w/Arcade card
PORTABLES: NeoGeo Pocket Color (x3), Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Microvision, TurboExpress (x2), Game Gear (modified w/TV output)

Come to think of it, it's easier to list systems I _don't_ have:
Atari Lynx (I'll track one down with games someday), Neo-Geo cart/CD system (though MAME makes it superfluous), N64 (don't want it), XBox (don't want it), Gamecube (not yet), classic-era oddities like the Fairchild, APF mp-1000, Emerson Arcadia and RCA Studio II.

And, yes, I have _no_ life.

My high number of games (and height of game play) came when the 5200 was out. I had about 40 games. Favorites were "Miner 2049'er", "Mountain King", "Countermeasure", and "H.E.R.O." Somebody needs to release one of those PSX disc compilations with 5200 emulations. I also liked 5200 "Frogger" and 5200 "Kangaroo" better than the actual arcade models. "Jungle Hunt" too now that I think about it.

I had a Coleco Vision for a brief period of time. I got it on clearance really cheap somewhere. Its specific purpose in life was to provide me with "Mr. Do's Castle" and "Donkey Kong". That's all I wanted it for.

My 7800 was a brief but fun affair which I mainly remember playing "Food Fight" on a lot.

I had an NES, a Super NES, and N64, each for about a year (and NOTHING in between), and probably ten titles tops for each.

I've had a PS2 for a little over a year now, which mostly gets used for the "Arcade Classics" discs. All that processor power and I'm playing Millipede.

The games I (by which I mean, me and my younger brother) own are way too many to list. That's all the way back to the NES and games on a 486 Pentium. I, too, have no life.

While I won't say too many to list, I know it's easily over 200, from the Atari 2600 to the Dreamcast. I just got a Nintendo last year (I should say again, my sib sold it on me while I was away at college), and scooped up quite a few games for it. I had many to replace.

DDR? Rocks like a rocking thing. As does Samba de Amigo. And most of the music/rhythm genre.

I still have floating somewhere around the house the following systems:

Atari 2600
Vic 20
Commodore 64
NES
SNES
Genesis
Saturn
Neo-Geo Gold
PS2
XBox

I had a Neo Geo Gold early on at one point, then I sold it. I had a 3D0, but I sold it to MicroPlay in exchange for a Neo Geo CD system, which I never got, because the ass-wipe closed shop and left town about a month after I gave him my 3D0, all my games, and $100 in cash for the Neo Geo CD. I hope I find him someday. I miss playing "Return Fire" very, very badly - oh, and I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

As a result of this fiasco, I re-acquired a Neo Geo Gold system a few years ago from E-Bay. Haven't played it in ages; perhaps I'll sell it again.

Man you people are loaded.

I don't think i've ever had more than 30 games at once.

At one point at Super Mario Bros., Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Warrior, Baseball Star, and BaseWars. That was it. THen i got a genesis and snes and got rid of all my nintendo stuff.

The only Genesis games I had were Sonic, Spiderman, and some Baseball game. The only SNES games I had were Whatever the Mario game that came with it was, Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball, another crappy baseball game, Final Fantasy 3.

Then i got my Playstation and got rid of all my Genesis and SNES stuff (and don't miss any of it at all). Then my number of games went up. For Playstation I had...

Saga Frontier, NCAA Gamebreaker, NCAA Gamebreaker 98, NCAA Final Four 99, Monster Rancher 1 and 2, NCAA Football 2001, WWF Attitude, WWF Smackdown, Tecmo's Deception, Suikoden 1 and 2, Wild Arms, Grandia, Final Fantasy V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, Legend of Dragoon, Thousand Arms, Xenogears. So I had 22 games at the time.

Also had a N64 but never owned a single game for it.

Then I got rid of some of my PS games (FF VII, Xenogear, Suikoden, Final Four, Monster Rancher 2 and NCAA Gamebreaker) so then i was down to 16 games? (my math could be wrong).

Then on PS2 i got FFX, NCAA Football 2002, Gran Turismo 3, Smackdown: Just Bring It, Monster Rancher 3, Madden 2002, Tekken Tag Tournament, NBA Street. But I gave away Madden, Tekken Tag and NBA Street. So if my math is correct i now have 21 games.

Yeah! I have approximately 20 games give or take, all for PSX/PS2! And that's the most I've ever had for any system.

Not necessarily. My collection, for example, is around twenty years' worth of accumulation, a lot of it from flea markets, farmers' markets, garage sales, trading, that kind of thing. It also doesn't hurt to wait for a price drop (which is why I need to start sucking up Dreamcast games NOW, while many of them are $10-20 apiece and before they disappear).

Well, that's WHY you've never had more than 30 games. You keep trading games in or giving them away!
The only time I've ever traded games in to get another system was when I got $100 off my first PSX by trading 10 Genesis games, and that's because I traded in a bundle of $2.99 games from the local EB clearance outlet. That made economic sense.

You gave up Monster Rancher 2? BLASPHEMY! You don't want to KNOW how many hours of my life went to that game. I beat the Legends Cup with more than half of the available monster types, worked out a just-about-perfect training method that let me max out several stats on most monsters, and proved that if you give it the right regimen of items and praise, you can make a monster live a perfect lifespan without resting it _once_. (This PROVES I have no life.)

Despite the fact that I am a videogame junkie, I am a poor videogame junkie, who rarely got to take advantage of his EB employee discount.

Nintendo 64:
Perfect Dark
WWF No Mercy
Super Mario 64

Sega Dreamcast:
Sonic Adventure
NFL 2K1
Grandia II
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
Sega Smash Pack

Sega Saturn:
Resident Evil
Gungriffon
Virtua Fighter 2
DAY-TO-NAAAAAAAA!!!!! Let's go away!
Quarterback Attack
NiGHTS into Dreams (sampler)
Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo
Marvel Super Heroes
Virtua Soccer (or something)
A bunch of other ones I can't remember
*NOTE: I picked up the Saturn and games about 2 weeks ago for a total of $20. Just gotta get a new battery for it.
Game Boy Advance:
Fire Pro Wrestling A
Golden Sun

I'm sure I missed some, but fuck it.

Hmmm...

PSX:

Final Fantasy VII (Which is one game I still play)
WWF Attitude
WWF Warzone
Smackdown
Smackdown 2
Tekken 2
NFL Extreme
Star Wars: Master of Teras Kasi
ECW Revolution
WCW Mayhem (Yes, I know)

GB/GBA:

Pokemon Red
Pokemon Gold
Fire Pro Advanced
Wario Land
Two Puzzle Games which I can never find
Final Fantasy Legends II
Final Fantasy Legends III
MegaMan 2
Dr. Mario
WWF Superstars 2
Tetris (duh)
NFL QB Club
Some Casino one that I found on a camping trip one time
About a hundred other ones that have been raided and/or stolen by my nieces and nephews (not that I miss any of them really...)

I think that's it. I gave my Nintendo to my sister. My Genisis dissapeared. I do have a bigillion computer games though. Literally. I counted.

And yes, one of these days I'll start living in 2002 and pick up a newer system. I'm looking at a PS2, but it's too damned expensive for me right now...

Honestly, nothing on GameCube right now excites me. Plus, I hate their controlers.

PS2:

Smackdown 3 (Yes, everyone hates it, but I can get the game really cheap and I liked the first two)
GTA 3
MGS 2
Final Fantasy X
GT 3

Game Cube:

Luigi's Mansion
Maybe Smash Brothers, though I've never even seen it
Future WWF Game Here (What is it WM-X8 or something?)

I'd rather spend the extra hundred dollars (of money I don't have) to buy the PS2, get a new DVD player, play all my old games and get new ones.

But, as I've said, point moot as Money = $0

Unless someone wants to contribute to the fund?! Together we can upgrade me to the next gaming generation! Get a kid through the rest of college with his sanity somewhat intact...Please?

Not to be a total prick, but I have over 250 games for the Atari 2600 _alone_, and another hundred for the Intellivision.
(And, no, that's not 230 copies of Pac-Man and ET.)
