| #1 Posted on 23.8.03 2107.53 Reposted on: 23.8.10 2108.04 | I don't see why I have to pay NWA-TNA $10 to watch their show when I only have to pay $0.00 to watch Raw, Smackdown, Confidential, Velocity, Heat, Afterburn and Bottomline. It's just not fair and they should let me watch for FREE like WWE lets me.
It truly is a sad world we live in when you have to pay money to get something. They don't really care about the fans, they just care about the money that they want me to give them. Well Jarretts and company, if you think you're gonna get my $10, you gottta another coming BUCKO!!
Thank goodness for (some site or other CRZ edited out to keep lawyers away). They allow me to download NWA-TNA shows each and every week. I've got several dating back to February in my folder. Now granted, the video is byte size and it requires an hour or two for downloading on my highspeed connection, but it's worth it in the end because it cost me $0.00.
Also, I like going on their site and downloading all the pictures. I have all the pictures dating back to July of last year. So many memories!
Anywho, NWA-TNA is greedy and unless they wanna stay in business, they better get a tv deal with someone so I can watch it without all the hassle. Also, if they want $10 from me, they better offer lots of mail order extras each time you buy one of their PPVs. The PPV is NOT ENOUGH. I suggest for each order they send me bobblehead doll, a magazine, an autographed 8 x 10 photo, an action figure, and a prop they used on the show. It's only fair. Also, they should let you win prizes and stuff for watching.
And if they doesn't work, they should make all the ppv's cost a penny instead. That seems like a fair price.
THE END.

How much does you connection cost? Sure, you don't use it exclusively to download TNA PPVs but... the fact of the matter is you still pay to see those shows. And how much money does TNA get? NADA. ZIP. NICHTS. RIEN.
WWE free programming is paid by sponsors. In fact, 10% of a WWE programme is filled with ads. So you DO pay, in a way, for that show. You pay everytime you eat at your favorite Subway, and so on. And you still pay 40$ a month to see a PPV. And do you have extras when you order a WWE PPV? You bet you don't!
TNA doesn't have a prime time TV contract like WWE does. Still, their shows are action-packed (proof: you download each and every of their show) and, for 10 bucks, are more valuable than, let's see... a 40-buck Bad Blood PPV?
You are the one who cares only about the money. You don't care about the wrestling. If you really cared, you'd pay the damn 10 bucks and help the TNA wrestlers make a living of making you a happy fan every wednesday. | FurryHippie

It is sad the world works this way but ya know - it shouldn't be a news flash to ya. Welcome to reality. | Big Bad

And of course they want your money!! You don't think Vince does? That's why everything with the WWE logo on it is exorbitantly priced. | darkmatcher

Ah yes, the troll isn't TRULY successful until he's managed to make JACKSON weign in and add unnecessary length to the unnecessary thread. Well played. | Chico Santana

| #11 Posted on 24.8.03 1140.57 Reposted on: 24.8.10 1141.07 | Back in the day, when I was fifteen, I thought the same as winston. Why don't girls come up to me and tell me that they want me? Why don't girls just give me sex because I want it, and because I'm a great guy? Ah, to be that naive again, I wish to be. It's funny that if you took out the wrestling related words from winston's post and replaced them with music industry related words you would have one side of the downloading music debate. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
