It's not like people are reading his column more than other people's just because of a few 1-liners here and there...
Unless he's taking several lines or a paragraph from another recap... ... *shrugs* ... I don't really see the big issue.
And this 'evidence' is pretty circumstantial and doesn't really hold much merit from where I'm comming from. Why would he take something mentioned in an article that was MONTHES before his own? Maybe he did read it, and keep it in the back of his mind only to spout it out later not remembering he'd read it.

I think it's worth noting that the preceding line in "Asshole" is"

And seeing as to how Vince was doing *just* that...
It's called an INSIDE JOKE. It's Scott's way of saying "Hey, I like Denis Leary. This reminded me of that Denis Leary song. I wonder how many people would get it if I put the next verse in there?"
I also thought Scott's "If I steal a joke..." comment was an acknowledgement that he does, in fact, on occassion, steal other people's jokes, and that when they are unique and (possibly even) funny he gives the source his/her proper due. Perhaps you could've just thought "hmmm...Scott made the same joke as me" and letting it go as a coincidence instead of rushing to the Wienerboard to start yet another "I hate Scott Keith...he is the antiChrist and I must bash him at every opportunity because I must perpetuate the stereotype that message board posters have no life except for that which is within the (a 3-letter acronym I refuse to use but has been use several times in this thread already).

The problem I really have with stuff like this is, when direct questions requiring only a mere "yes" or "no" are asked, Scott falls silent. In a way, it's hard to blame him - if you don't speak up, you certainly won't get caught in a lie and it takes a fair amount of restraint to know when you're headed down that road and stop providing fodder to "the opposition." At the same time, there are WAY more than enough people whose blind devotion won't be swayed in the slightest by such avoidance, so really, why bother? It'd probably be too difficult to provide a satisfactory answer to j'accusers anyway.
I feel I have enough of my own personal experience in the matter to make the above statements...although I LIKE to think I tended to give more credit than Scott does, and I skirted less direct questions than Scott does. Certainly I could find a thread or two on tOA that would support this, but since THEY happen to be biased, the factualness would tend to be discounted.
Then there is the OTHER great recapper's tactic, that is to stop talking about things in the public place and instead make indirect, one-way comments in the recap instead. It's a great way to control the flow of "information" and you're generally speaking to "your" people (although many of whom have no idea what's going on and get really confused)...it's also a fantastic way to stir the pot and continue to get people talking about you on other places - like here! We can only hope that Scott doesn't have any grand designs on doing something like that THIS time...or, if he does, that certain people here don't fall for it. 
Again, I speak with several years' of experience behind me here. Silly, and you thought all we did was talk about the wrasslin'! It's all about the game...and how you play it.
EDIT: Oh, yeah one more thing. Some of you REALLY need to consider picking your spots more carefully. You don't have the credibility AND karma to burn like I do. (Actually, now that I'm getting closer to A YEAR without recapping, I have precious little left of either myself. Hey, but don't tell those people who still think I have relevance, though! ;-) )
