2nd Runner up choice: "Welcome to the Jungle" by GnR. you know where you are???!!!!
1st runner up choice: "One of these days" by Pink Floyd. I'd start it right when the guitar comes in as for about the 1st 90 seconds or so of the song is just bass and a bit of keyboards. would be my top choice if I was a heel.
Top choice: "Jesus built my hot rod" by Ministry. Just some nasty guitar work on that track. Fast pace thru the whole song. | NIKO

Johnny Cash's "The Man Comes Around" or Steve Earle's "Ashes To Ashes" would both be very cool, as well, and the latter has few lines that become wrestling references when taken out of context:
Then the sea gave birth and it crawled up on the dirt Stood up and took a look around Said, "I'm the next big thing and the gift that I bring Comes directly from God, so there ain't no holding me down"

Easy to ID opening riff, rocking tune, great vocals, fitting title. Classic, IMHO, and if there's one thing I've learned in life, it's that you don't mess with the classics.
As long as I'm strolling down memory lane and spinning the golden oldies (don't laugh kids, live long enough and one day this could be you) the song Dizzy Miss Lizzie (stevesbeatles.com) also written by Larry Williams, also performed by The Beatles (also John Lennon on lead vocal) could serve quite well as an entrance song for a wrestler of the distaff variety. Repeat second paragraph here.
As to songs recorded in this century, I think Aaron Tippin's Kiss This (geocities.com) has excellent possibilities, at least IMHO. | antizeus

Much of their music is too rich, relaxing, and beautiful to be an entrance theme, but this song starts out energetic and stays that way.
P.S. I still think the theme song for the No Way Out PPV should be the song of the same name by the Chocolate Watchband. | emma

You You have You have me You have asked me You have asked me You have asked me And I did not answer
It's that ambiguous triple meaning that makes the lyric cool. "Du hast mich" is "You have me", while "Du hasst mich" is "You hate me". "Hasst" is part of the verb "hassen" which is "to hate". "Hast" (with one 's') is part of the verb "haben", which, as in english, is used both as "to have ", & as a helper word for many past tense verb conjugations.
In my "Sehensucht" CD liner, the printed lyrics are "Du hast mich" -- one 's' -- so the translation supplied by DarkRenegade is technically the correct one, but when I heard the lyrics, I first went to the "You hate me" interpretation, then immediately the double meaning at "Du hast mich gefragt."
Shinstrife, good suggestion -- very cool song.
Tricky question, actually. Maybe Janis Joplin, "Move Over" or "Piece of My Heart". Tough call. | GodEatGod
